Staff super helpful from start, room nice and clean, location is great (walking distance from SM pier)… the wifi provided for free is enough for what you have to do on a regular day (option to upgrade to fast for a fee) valet parking available for $45 a day ( the area charges around $30 per day for public parking, so its a good deal as you can go in an out as many times as you can)

We had the loveliest time at this beautiful and one-of-a-kind hotels. We celebrated our wedding weekend here and the hotel unexpectedly upgraded our room and had a bottle of champagne and strawberries for us on arrival. It made such a special weekend even more special. The hotel staff was exceptional. Lenny, Dan, Josh, and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure our experience was unforgettable. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. The restaurant was gorgeous—made even better with the natural light and ocean view. We loved the specialness of the gym that was filled with top of the line equipment and the coolest dumbbells I have ever seen! Every time we can and went from the hotel, we were met with nothing but kindness and grace. We will most definitely be back.

It is suitable for children, very close to the pedestrian street, close to the sea, parking lot, and car rental service. However, there is no free shuttle at the airport, and there is no charge. This is obviously inconsistent with the hotel introduction. When I started booking the hotel, I chose to shuttle, because of this problem, some plans were disrupted.

The hotel is on the second street, just one block away from the main ocean view street. It is one block away from the 3rd street promenade end (the pedestrian commercial walk). All of this makes a very good location for touristic purposes. There are not many convenience stores around, but some within walking distance. The main restaurants and bars are a bit further, but also within walking distace. The hotel itself has very nice staff and very modern and nice decor. There are many signs of neglection here and there (minor details), nothing that affect the stay or the ambience per se, but for very detail oriented people, this might look weird. Other than that, the hotel is a very nice stay.

Opposite the road is the beach and the sea, the service is thoughtful and thoughtful, the housekeeper found that we have a lot of fruit in the process of moving luggage, and specially moved a mini refrigerator for us. Bottled water is free to take, coffee is free to drink, and the overnight car only charges one parking fee.

My new favorite hotel in Los Angeles is the Proper hotel Santa Monica. From the minute I arrived I felt enveloped in understated luxury. The color scheme is neutral and relaxing and everything is designed to calm the senses and the mind. This is a very generous hotel offering free boxes of water and a beautiful coffee and tea spread every morning. This type of generosity goes a long way to building loyalty and making a guest feel special. The rooms are beautifully appointed. This compensates for the small size of the rooms. The gym is one of the best fitness centers I have been to in any hotel and the equipment is up to date and in excellent condition. The roof top bar is chic and stylish without being pretentious. I loved this hotel and will return again and again. I would say it is in my top ten in the world!
