At ten o 'clock in the morning, the attendant knocked on the door and asked if we needed to check out and clean the room. This will wake us straight from sleep. When we needed an extra bottle of mineral water, we were told that the check-out time was only ten minutes away, so we could not be provided with extra water.

Front Desk - Average, they are cool and get their job done, but make me feel that I may have ruined their day (; Bell Desk - Good, much better experience and they are friendly Cleanliness - Good Shower - Excellent, great and consistent hot water pressure Room - Poor Non-stop water pipe running noise from the air-conditioning. Non stop blinking message light on the phone. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 10:15 to rush you to check out (check out time 11:00am) Security - Poor. Non hotel guest was allowed to trespass in the lobby and guest lift. Will I stay here again - Probably, for price and location.

It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach.But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night. The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in. The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.

I have written about this hotel chain various time before and I will continue to do so only because they are the Best Hotel Chain. I look at them as a business partner because of them taking care of me I’m able to do what I need to with my clientele and that to me is worth more than anything else. In business you are only as good as you are able to keep your clients happy and Hilton makes it super easy for me to keep my clients very happy. I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a business trip, and I must say, it was a rather pleasant experience overall. First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

This hotel was soo beautiful from the outside in. The rooms were really plush and art deco. Wish I could have stayed longer because I really loved the rooms. The bathroom, omg was out of this world along with the fabulous body care products. And the water is so soft in LA, we thought it was the soap. The price point was reasonable as well. We didn't try the restaurant this time, didn't really see anything on the menu that stiffs or to us.

The K mattress & pillows were very comfortable. The room was very spacious & quiet. Cynthia from front desk was very accommodating for my request & had a great stay. The staff were friendly, courteous & efficient. The gated covered parking came in handy for the storm & I appreciate they have 3 well functioning luggage carts for guest use. Gateway Towne Center is within walking, 1 block to Best Buy, Marshalls, etc.

I typically stay 100 nights per year in hotel and this location was average or actually slightly below. The check in/out staff was run of the mill - no frowns but no smiles or small talk - just handing over the keys. The room was distressed and the bathrooms need deep clean. Moldy sink area, chipped furniture, noisy A/C, etc..etc. I supposed for the price it may be the best you can get but if you are able to go the extra mile... On both trips to the restaurant for breakfast, the wait staff was awesome! They could teach a thing or two to the desk staff...

We had a great stay. Our room (305) was very large and the large bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms have been refurbished since our last stay in 2019 and are greatly improved. The closet area provided ample storage and the shower room was large. We appreciated the space and amenities including hairdryer, iron and board, fridge and coffee maker. The TV area also has great storage and there was a large selection of channels. The only drawback to the room was the air conditioning noise so I used silicone ear plugs to sleep. We didn’t use many of the facilities except the gymnasium - regrettably the 2 running machines were both out of service. The pool is very small and could be noisy if your room overlooks. There are plenty of parking spaces and the location is excellent, very handy for The Calabasas Commons (a beautiful, landscaped area with a great selection of coffee shops, restaurants and stores), Malibu beaches (30 mins drive) and 405 highway. The housekeeping staff did a great job and always said hello in the corridors which was really nice. The complimentary, individually wrapped cookies at the lobby were delicious and a very welcoming touch. I have had great stays in this hotel and would unreservedly recommend to friends.

This hotel was great for our stay here in California. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day out whether around Los Angeles or a 17 hour day in Disneyland. The fridge was great bigger than we expected. We managed to store lots of bottled water and a few 2L bottles of juices with all our yoghurts etc for the mornings and during the day. Fridge is a great size for trips to Target which is across the street less than 5 min walk. Bathroom and other parts in the room we couldn’t fault had everything we needed for our stay to make it comfortable. As we left they were re decorating the halls, apart from all of this we wish there was stairs to each floor instead of just getting the lift up as we were in the 3rd floor room 355. Stairs would have been nice inside the blocks as there is only a fire exit stairwell to leave the hotel you cannot get to your room via stairs. Also great for parking a hire car as this hotel doesn’t charge for overnight parking too one of the reasons we chose this as our main location to go back and forth from saving us $350/$400 compared to competitor hotels around LA.
