I used the railroad from Vientiane to Luang Prabang for two nights and traveling alone. You can see Dhutanga in front of the hotel. It's a place away from the main street, but it's quiet and comfortable & You can spend it safely. When I asked for a tour to Quanxi Falls the night before, he arranged it immediately. I had card payment NG information before, but it has been improved and cards can be used. It's a compact hotel, but the staff will do their best to follow you on your trip, so you won't have any trouble staying. We recommend using this when visiting Luang Prabang.

With sacred Mount Phousi as its backdrop Amantaka lies in the centre of picturesque Luang Prabang - Laos spiritual capital. White-walled and green-shuttered the period building retains all the genteel tranquillity of its French-Colonial past with private pools and an expansive spa meeting the needs of contemporary travellers. Taking its name from tipitaka meaning the teaching of the Buddha Amantaka supplies guests with myriad suggestions for cultural and spiritual immersion in Luang Prabang a UNESCO World Heritage Site - from giving alms to monks at dawn to navigating the fabled Mekong on Amantakas boat.
The spa offers holistic massages - body treatments and healing therapies utilising Aman Spas unique chemical-free products.
Laos and French fare feature prominently on the menus served in the white-walled Dining Room or open-air Pool Terrace.
Traditional Laos floral arrangements and music enhance occasions of all kinds whether a private dinner or poolside Laos-style barbecue.

Laos is not a rich country, but luxury hotels seem to be particularly fond of this country, especially Luang Prabang. Among them is Amantaka, which is a must-visit for Aman enthusiasts.
During my half month in Laos, I experienced all the good hotels in this country. As expected, Amantaka is the best. The noble experience begins when the front office manager personally drives to the previous hotel to pick you up. The appearance of every customer service person in the entire hotel seems to be strictly controlled. They are all pure and peaceful, so that wherever you walk in the hotel and meet the staff, you will see the pure and kind smiling faces, which will calm your heart. ,slow down. Although the hotel is located in the center of the city, it is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel provides free shuttle tutu service to facilitate guests to explore the ancient city; it also thoughtfully provides free afternoon tea and laundry services. After swimming, you can use the steam and sauna rooms, and the facilities are well equipped. Monks will pass by the hotel entrance, and the hotel will provide free supplies and sticky rice to guests who want to experience alms. The hotel also gives guests woven bags and hats as souvenirs. It was an unforgettable and perfect experience in Amman Targah, and I hope to come back next time for a sunset cruise.

Very good reviews.
I was a little nervous before arriving because I saw some reviews saying that the swimming pool was not clean and the room smelled.
In fact, the arrival experience was very good. The front desk staff could communicate fluently in English. The service staff carried towels and sheets and cleaned the rooms patiently every day. Just like this city, except for the dining area in the night market, everything was clean and tidy. Perhaps it was because of the faith. There are hundreds of temples in Luang Prabang City of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
There is a unicorn tail kitten in the hotel. It is lively and cute with a good personality, but friends who don’t have cats are advised not to tease it. Cat owners understand the strength of cats playing and biting.
It is recommended to rent a motorcycle to travel. This time I took a taxi from loca, which was also very convenient. Except for the foreigner street, there are few people in the area where the hotel turns out, but it also has the style of the French colonial period at that time, and there are many good-looking shops.
There will be different dishes for breakfast every day. The only thing that remains unchanged is the rice noodles, which I must eat every day. The swimming pool is cleaned every morning. I swam once. It is divided into a children's play area about up to the calf, a safety area of about 130, and a deep water area of 150.
I hope that Chinese tourists visiting Luang Prabang will pay attention to managing their children’s volume, not disturb other tourists, and try to integrate into the peaceful and clean environment here.

I recently stayed at Choasis in Luang Prabang, and it was truly fantastic. The hotel is brand new and the quality of everything – from the rooms to the decor – was top-notch.
Located in a very peaceful part of the city, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed.
Francis, the manager, was amazing and went out of his way to make my stay memorable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options, and the food from the restaurant was incredible – the Thai chef really knows how to create great flavors. I highly recommend Choasis to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!

Before I went to Laos for the first time, I was worried about the language barrier, so I chose the Lanxiang Hotel with Chinese service. When I arrived at the hotel, I met the boss from my hometown. The hotel staff was responsible for arranging the food, accommodation and transportation in Luang Prabang, which was very worry-free. I will choose it again next time I come to Luang Prabang.
Facilities: The hotel has been opened for a few months, and the facilities and equipment are very new.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, no special odor
Service: Five-star praise, the hotel owner is very enthusiastic, and he will do his best to serve every customer in all aspects. It feels like home in a foreign country.
One-day tour is provided for two nights of accommodation: It is strongly recommended to participate in the one-day tour arranged by the hotel, which basically covers all the popular attractions in Luang Prabang. The whole journey is accompanied by a hotel butler and a tour guide in Chinese, and there is no mandatory additional consumption.

The hotel is run by people from Shandong, so communication is very convenient; the travel routes recommended by the boss are very reasonable, and the places to eat, drink and have fun are also very cost-effective; the hotel is newly opened, and the courtyard is very warm, and it feels like sitting in the courtyard with a drink. It's very cozy. The bougainvillea paved wall is very beautiful to take pictures. The hotel is located in the center of the city and is very convenient to go out. The highlight is the coconut tree at the door. One tree can produce more than 30 coconuts. It is very close to major tourist attractions and living areas, just a few minutes' walk away; the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom with separate dry and wet bathrooms is well arranged, and there is a washing machine that you can use for free, and you can also dry clothes, which is highly recommended.

Already the second time I stayed here, Belmond was very popular because of the activities. The pool is also the most beautiful in Luangprabang. It is especially good to watch the sunset. Excellent quality and intimate service, as well as food, two breakfasts and dinners, were deeply impressed. If you want a quiet leisure time, this is a good choice.

I chose this hotel when I traveled to Laos. The service staff upgraded us to a large room next to the pool.
After checking in, the TV broke, and the service staff handled the problem very attentively and responsibly. I like the partition pillows on the bed.
The hotel price is also good, and the hygiene is also very good.

Let me start with the advantages: free pick-up and drop-off from the high-speed rail station or the airport, which is great, and the location is not in the core area, which is suitable for those who want to clean up. The hotel has a swimming pool and faces the Mekong River, although there is not much to see in the river.
The disadvantages are: 1. The room facilities are old, the door lock is broken, the bathroom has no door or curtain, the water almost reaches the room after taking a bath, and the sink cannot discharge hot water. 2. The sound insulation is so poor that the sound of running water in the shower next door can be heard clearly, and even louder conversations in the room downstairs can be heard clearly. 3. Although the front desk is Chinese, he is very unprofessional. He sent an address when he checked in, but didn’t explain anything else. He didn’t tell him the address during breakfast time. He didn’t tell him that he had to tell him in advance when cleaning the room. I asked him for his address and his cell phone was not handed to him yet. In front of him, he hurriedly said he didn't know. When I asked him where I could rent a car or a motorcycle, he said don’t rent one, go charter a car. . . 4. Breakfast is a bowl of pork ribs powder with eggs + fruit every day. It is the same every day. There is no milk or bread. I am tired of eating it after staying for three days in a row.
I came here after seeing all the good reviews. I really don’t know where these good reviews came from. Please give me an objective review.

Vientiane, Vangvieng, Luang Prabang, we stayed in Vientiane for 8 days. I am most satisfied with this hotel. The decoration and hardware of the new hotel are very good. It is opened by a Chinese and it is very convenient for consultation. The boss, Ah Hui, was very nice. He picked us up and dropped us off, and even sent us a car to take us back to the high-speed rail station. If you have anything you don’t know, just ask him. I will only comment if I am extremely dissatisfied or extremely satisfied. There is such a friendly Chinese hotel in Laos. It's far away from the city, not noisy, and the breakfast is also in Chinese taste. The photo was taken at the hotel, and the perspective is unparalleled. I will stay here again next time I come to Luang Prabang, and will also recommend it to relatives and friends.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!
Kknoess RichelleThis place is an oasis . The staff are friendly and professional. The room was lovely with a nice balcony. Breakfast served near the lily pond each morning. It is a short walk into town or you can use one of their free bicycles. The grounds are beautifully manicured. And there was a yummy cookie left in our room each evening. You can also book all excursions around the city through the helpful front desk staff.
GGuest UserThe hotel was clean, employees were very helpful and kind. They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.
BBeeTechI recently had the pleasure of staying at anlan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms. Every corner of my room was spotless, and the attention to detail was remarkable. It felt like I was the first guest to ever stay in that room! The bed was incredibly comfortable, with fresh, crisp linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. The modern amenities, from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the well-appointed bathroom, made my stay even more enjoyable.
Despite the top-notch quality, the room rates were incredibly affordable, offering unbeatable value for money. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers such high standards without breaking the bank, but Anlan manages to do just that.
The location was also ideal—just a short walk from nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Anlang provides everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay.
If you're looking for a hotel that combines cleanliness, affordability, and exceptional service, look no further than [Hotel Name]. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Luang Prabang!
GGuest UserHotel offers a luxurious experience at an incredible value. Spacious, clean rooms with beautiful decor provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere. One drawback is that there are quite a lot of mosquitoes here
GGuest UserGot off to a bad start with my t/f to guest house not in attendance on airport arrival despite landing 20 mins late. The water in shower was only tepid and no hot water for shaving. Breakfast for the extra 40,000kip[US$2.50] was adequate with unlimited tea/coffee. On arrival was placed in wrong room then moved to other side which was above the carpark and near the main road. Room was well appointed, no fridge or tea/coffee facility and house keeping good with consistent time each day[2pm]. The location was the most disappointing being on wrong side of river and having to cross the bamboo bridge to the tourist area on other side. There was only one main restaurant near g/h and as a result was very popular overlooking river.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a super good location with a clean environment. It is located on the busiest street in the ancient city of Luang Prabang, at the entrance of the night market. The night market starts at 4 pm at the entrance of the hotel. There are local barbecue, beer, snacks, and Laotian hot pot. You can go shopping after eating. There are many local products. If you keep walking along the night market, you can see many French restaurants and Laotian massages. You can see the Mekong River at the intersection. In the morning, at 5:10 Lao time, you can see the alms at the entrance of the hotel, or you can participate in the alms yourself. After the alms, go up the mountain opposite to the Puxi Mountain to watch the sunrise. After watching the sunrise, you can go to the morning market. The morning market is two minutes away from the hotel entrance, very close! The morning market has local breakfast vegetables, fruits, coffee, juice, Chinese buns, fried dough sticks, soy milk, everything! Turn left at the entrance of the hotel for a few minutes to the Grand Palace, opposite is Puxi Mountain and the Mekong River. The overall transportation is very convenient! Several attractions are a few minutes away. The boss is Chinese and very warm and friendly. The front desk guy provides very good service.
SSNYDERThe hotel was very nice with traditional decor and conveniently located at the city center and easy walking distance to the night market and other nearby landmarks and tourists attractions. The breakfast was very simple, though satisfying and made according to the set menu items you select. Service quality was very good and helpful and front desk staff spoke English.
GGuest UserThe location is not bad, not far from the morning market and night market, and you can see alms around the corner. Because of a mistake, the boss gave a round-trip ticket to Kansai Falls, which is great! The color of the room is a bit dark, the room space is a bit small, and the suitcase is a little hard to open, but the bed is very big, and the guy at the front desk is very cute~ Breakfast is bread, you can eat enough!
GGuest UserIt's okay for the price~ I liked the balcony.
The bathroom and toilet are separate.
It's not completely clean, and you have to take that into account because it's an old building. The location is a bit far from the night market, but you can walk there, and I rented a scooter, so it wasn't difficult to get around.
