Luang Prabang Hostels

The location is excellent, right next to the night market. Popular tourist attractions are also within walking distance. However, the accommodation doesn't have an elevator. I stayed in a room on the top floor, which was a bit tiring, but the staff helped carry my luggage, which was very kind. The staff were also very attentive to every detail.

Casa Verde Hostel, where I stayed in Luang Prabang, truly exceeded my expectations! Although I don't speak English, I was able to communicate without much difficulty thanks to translation software. The receptionist was incredibly warm and patient, providing attentive service throughout, and always ready to help. The experience was fantastic! ✨ The common areas had a wonderful atmosphere, a fresh and comfortable design, and the facilities were complete and clean. Laundry, car rental, and the bar were all very convenient, making my trip very hassle-free. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean; the beds were spotless and odor-free, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The overall atmosphere was incredibly soothing, perfect for solo travelers. I'd definitely choose this hostel again next time!

Great hotel, incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast consists of bread, butter and jam, fruit juice, tea or coffee, fresh fruit and a meal of choice (e.g. an omlette)

That was ok, but the terrace is quite small and it is not river but like a little lake in front. The breakfast was the same every day, I would prefer more vegetables because there were only eggs, bread w/butter&jam, croissant and fruits. They have bicycles but you need to ask about that. The reception team doesn’t speak English well but Google translator helps. And that would be nice to have mosquito nets in the room and thin curtains on the windows because when they are open everyone from the street can see you, otherwise it’s too dark in the room.

This hotel is great! It's about a 10-minute walk from the 'Foreigners Street' in the city center. The room is spacious and incredibly clean. It's a French-style building, and the decor and furniture have a charming, rustic French vibe, which is really cozy. The owner speaks Chinese and, after we connected on WeChat, helped me exchange money, buy a SIM card, and even book tours. The service was absolutely excellent, and the staff were all very attentive, responding immediately to any request. Great value for money!

God. I should sad this hostel is amazing. Comfortable bed, large space, good service, good location, free swimming pool, cheap price. Can’t tell any shortcoming. You can even use your US dollar here.

The hotel's location is about 10 to 25 minutes walk from the night market, and 50 meters from the main road. The hotel doesn't have windows but shutters, which don't block outside noise. The cleaning is below average, the floor isn't clean. Breakfast is coffee or tea, 2 slides of bread, jam, margarine and one boiled egg. I gave my egg to my friend The biggest no no for us was people smoking in the dinning room, and as there are no windows the air flow pushes the smell directly to the room, which is insane. The employee even smoked on my friend's face while he was having his breakfast. It's quite disrespectful. Then the folks staying on the tents.alsomsmoke and indoor, you get the point. The worst part is that there are plenty of signs saying don't smoke you will be reported to the police and yet everyone is smoking inside. The positive notes are that the beds are large and that you get clean bedsheets when checking in. Would I recommend the hostel: no, unless if you're on a tight budget and the cigarette smell doesn't bother you.

Location is quiet far from the city centre. A little pricey for what you get, I think in general accommodation price in Luang Prabang is higher. There is a loud Chinese music in the morning which made it hard for me to focus on my work. Also, the main door was closed when I need to go out early morning, not sure if that is always closed at night! Overall it was a good stay!

We only stayed one night, in between returning from Nong Khiaw and heading to Vang Vieng. Great location on an alley, just a stone's throw from the Night Market. Breakfast included (mango juice / various choices of pancakes or eggs) and coffee/tea. We got a last-minute deal. The room was spacious and the bedding was excellent.
