Really good hotel for families. Really friendly & accommodating staff. We have nothing bad to say - excellent! Nice roof top pool - good quality breakfast - quiet & clean rooms but most of all amazing & accommodating staff on reception. We had a good stay on an family room

More than once in this very good location hotel. It is a very good mercure from Accor. Nothing to be mentionned. Just be kind enough to client (and more platinum) attention : our bathrooms was smelling very bad during 3 days (canalisation) we didn’t notice to the front room but when we checked out, the agent proposed not to pay the breakfast we never had… and then we ask to take the car from the garage at 1:30 in place of 12:00 seems to be a huge problem when we paid for 48hrs - and no commercial gesture due to the room smell… client first…

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

Staff was nice and allowed an early check in. Great location with the train station a five minute walk. The Prado and the plaza Mayor both very walkable. Plus, there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The downside is the street noise. We had a room on the 5th floor without AC which required us to have our windows open and the noise from the very busy street was deafening. And at 3 am people returning from their night out partying- laughing and yelling could be heard. I think the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. But, I would recommend a room high up with AC or in the back of the hotel.

Hotel with some (small) inconvenience due to the renovations that are being finalized. Inconveniences that they solve with kindness and with the design of the new rooms. Silent. The location of the hotel is very good, and there are a lot of open-air restaurants and shopping places. But the hotel has a certain room type that can accommodate three people. Whether the couple carries a child or the parents carries two children, the front desk strictly implements the rules for two people. You need to add money to another room type with a sofa bed to accommodate three people. This information hotel did not provide at all when booking with Ctrip.

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. The location is very good, there are bars and restaurants. Although the parking lot is relatively expensive, 25 per night, but many nearby hotels have no parking lot, it is impossible to find a parking space in such a city center without a parking lot, and even loading and unloading luggage is troublesome, so the parking lot is a plus (if Just loading and unloading luggage, you can borrow the parking lot to get off, because parking in front of the hotel is definitely a ticket). The service attitude of the hotel is very good. There is often a handsome guy + a beautiful woman. I have stayed twice and the attitude is very enthusiastic. There are bars and restaurants downstairs of the hotel. If you want to have a quiet drink, it is very suitable. The restaurant's products are not bad, but the price is high in this area. I forgot to take pictures in the room, but the safe is very useful. You can swipe your own card as the key. It is advanced. There is a very strange point that there will be a basin of sand on the TV cabinet in the room. I don’t know what aesthetics it is.

For 1 night stay, its all good, room is super clean. Pillows are not so comfy, unless you request for extra pillows and double bed is just nice for an Asian size couples like us. Not suitable for bigger build bodies. Location is not that centralized and its quiet at night as it is an ofc area, but we managed to try both Taxi/metro for dinner, abt 10-12mins ride. We also went to Madrid Stadium using the metro, a more convenient way.

The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are not big, but very clean and hygienic, the sheets are washed very white, it is very comfortable at first glance. The breakfast is also very rich, that is, the breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays starts at 8 o’clock. When I leave, I catch a plane on Saturday. There is no breakfast when I get down at 7:30. The front desk said that there are some simple food and drinks in the small bar. Point, it feels more humane, the experience of staying in is very good, it is recommended!
