Hotels near Parque de Berlín in Madrid

The accommodation is really great for the value - I was positively surprised. It has very good location - just in front of the bus stop that you can easily reach the city center and on a 5 min walking distance from the Metro station Colombia. Rooms are new, very clean, stylish and spacious, bathroom is big enough, the room had a big balcony to the inner yard (not noisy). Internet connection is more than perfect. Room was cleaned every day. The reception is 24/7 and very friendly The windows are soundproof but unfortunately the walls are not - they are rather thin so you ca hear every little and not so little noise from the corridor or next room (or maybe because the bed was just next to the corridor wall). Some guest were rather noisy late in the evening/night and makes it difficult to sleep The TV had no English channels

It is in a nice neighbourhood, within a 5-10 minute walk to the metro, and the stop is well connected for heading downtown. It's a clean, very serviceable business hotel. You hear muffled noises from other rooms and the hallway, and the pillows are flat, even with their pillow menu. For a weekday stay, it's well priced.

Although we have been 1 night we have been very comfortable, the very friendly reception girl, the only bad thing is that when calling the customer attention no one answered, we are sure we will return ☺️

Very clean small hotel, everything is the same as expected. The hotel is very close to the subway and there are not many food choices nearby. Recommended. Next time Madrid preferred hotel!

I have just come home from staying here for three days, my initial views were good for this hotel, I am afraid looking back I was wrong. The service I received was fine, but to be charged £340 for three nights which converts to £288, £95 a night I feel is outrageous and most definitely would not stay here again. I feel very annoyed with myself for agreeing to stay here for three nights. I have not been out of the UK for two years and eight months so this was very important to me. I had not booked in advance, just went to Alicante and thought I could find a hotel, it was very hot, I was feeling tired, I do not think I was thinking straight.😰but I do blame myself entirely. She said it was a special offer so I would have breakfast free, but I can assure you the breakfast was extremely mediocre, I did not choose to have breakfast on the last day, so getting it free and paying £95 a night is irrelevant. They did not have fresh milk, it was long life milk, The bread was stale, the sausages in the hot section look liked they came out of a can and cold, the scrambled egg was cold, the bacon in the hot plate was 99% fat and cold, all the juices they were serving were out of a packet and were very distasteful. I would rate this breakfast as a two-star hotel and indeed I would say probably one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a hotel in my lifetime. I have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels so I do have some experience, I would probably say this hotel is worth £60 pounds a night maximum, then one could accept what I received as acceptable, to charge £95 a night again I am going to say is very disappointing and outrageous. I also strongly recommend to anyone going to Alicante do not stay at this hotel for £95 a night, it is only worth about £60. Another point I would like to make the building noise outside over the three days was shocking, even with all the doors closed, the noise from the building noise and the bars across the road was horrendous and I paid £95 a night for this. Another very important point not out of the UK for two years and eight months, I am. 70 years old, have underlining health conditions and the staff working in the hotel could not even be courteous enough to put a face mask on or advise anyone to wear a face mask, I was the only one in the hotel with a face mask on, this is disgraceful and something they should not be proud of. I suppose if you are young and you do not have any health conditions you can just have this type of attitude. I felt exposed, frightened, and worried about catching Covid in this hotel. I have to say shame on you for putting me through this. I paid you £95 a night to make me feel like this. Spain went through a very difficult time during Covid, I also know it is not compulsory now to wear a mask, but you should be more professional and you should think about your vulnerable customers. A taxi from the airport is around 20 Euros. The location is OK. It is also close to the subway. The hotel environment is also good. It feels like a homestay. There is a microwave oven, induction cooker, etc. in the room. The breakfast is Western-style. The Chinese may be used to drinking some milk. Others I am not used to, haha. The waiter is fluent in English, The whole is good, it is recommended!

Sanitary conditions are good. It is just diagonally opposite to the alfonso XIII exit of Metro Line 4. There is a supermarket next to the hotel. It is very close to the airport and the city. The area where the hotel is located is relatively safe. There is no encounter with black people and robbing. A friend lost his wallet. In addition, the subway recommends that you buy a day card, one day card, three day card, 7 day card is very cost-effective.

I have to say I found the hotel charming and the whimsical ways they have decorated the rooms really adds to one’s visit. None of the boring cookie cutter rooms food in many other places here of course that runs the risk of displeasing some people who don’t like things out of the ordinary though if you are someone who does you are in for a treat. Every aspect of our stay beyond that was what you Willy expect of a 5 star hotel in a major city exceptional cleanliness service and comfort.

Please Avoid this place. It is cheap but nothing else! I stayed here checked into the receiption which is 24 hours after my working day. The place is near the metro cuatro caminos (a mainly poorer area of Madrid with lots of south american population). The area does have a 24 hour supermarket which was good as the hostal has no food/drink facilities. The room was a very small single bed as I was alone on an education course for my job. The room had a fan and tv and a small table. Once you switch off the light the fan goes off so you cannot sleep with the fan on at night with 39c heat. you cannot leave the window open as its not a safe place. The first moment I checked in, i quickly went outside to get air and get the metro outside. They checked in a drunk african man at 6pm in the evening who was walking up the stairs with a can of beer unable to walk or see anything (their is no lift to the rooms) you need to walk up around 50 stairs to the rooms. They take anyone from the streets if they pay the small charge to stay here. Second day, the two receiptionists or owners were fighting over money from the hotel they were shouting and getting agressive. Its was an uncomfortable situation to see. I left and came back after work for a shower and the room had not been cleaned. They said you didnt put a badge on the door saying clean my room. Couldnt they knock and say something? Very strange way of working? The next day I put the badge clean my room but NO nothing changed. It was an excuse.. Then I went and complained he didnt speak any English and didnt want to know he said the cleaners left and nothing he can do. I pulled off the bedsheets, but the bed protector was badly stained with blood and I also got a skin rash. I left the property 1 day early, it was disgusting. The toilets were not cleaned either and insects were crawling everywhere. This place should be closed down immediately. They dont take security or cleaning seriously, they dont want to know problems only take your money. I explained to Expedia about this place but the hotel denied everything. SHAME!!!

A very neat and tidy business style hotel. The receptionist was very efficient and profesional. The was a very minimal breakfast area providing tea's and coffee and maybe some simple foods. The was a vending machines with the usual snacks but also reasonably priced, substantial, fresh-looking sandwiches. The room for three was large, clean and comfy. Everything was in good tip top working order. Unfortunately, the hotel did not pick up the phone and we had to contact them via the Trip.com app, who's service was commendable. The operator was I talked to was very calming and effective, so a big thank you to them.
