Budget motel with little service or hospitality, not catered for foreigners. Key points that make up my rating: - Staff attitude is poor from start of check in, right through. Basically got given room key and left. No explaination of facilites etc. Got to room there was on english instruction for things like wi-fi, aircon, safe deposit box. Rang reception and told to check instructions on TV screen which were so hard to navigate. - Room is so tiny. Bare minimum facitities. Place is little dated and could do with a refurb. Cleanliness was ok. No drinking water in room, you have to go down to lobby and self service. - Location is good. Opposite train station about 3-5 mins walk. Nagano itself has not much attrations if you are not into going skiing. But thats not to do with this establishment. - I saw a lot of locals business men coming and going. So I get the feel this is a place for local who come from out of town to do business. Perhaps if you are stopping a night or so before heading to a skii place or something then this might be suitable for just a room at a cheap price to get you by for the night. Considering we paid around $24000yen for 3 nights, it was ok. Can't expect too much for that price.

JR長野駅からすぐの場所にあり雨天時は地下通路が使えるので傘いらずです。東急百貨店や駅ビルも隣接、すぐ隣に農協の売店もあり地元のリンゴや野菜を安く変えました。部屋は明るくて広く清潔感があり、駅前にもかかわらず静かで快適でした。朝食が品数が多く味付けもよく美味しくいただきました。全国旅行割の活用でお得に宿泊できましたが、次回も長野での宿泊ならここを選びたいと思います。

・男女共用ドミトリー 1泊（約2,700円）を複数泊で利用させていただきました。 ・主な目的は、ワーケーションと観光、となります。 [お薦めのポイント] ・2019年7月オープンの新しく綺麗なドミトリー ・連泊なら丸1日電源とWi-Fi確保して仕事できます ・長野駅5分で3000円前後はとにかく安くてありがたすぎます ~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~ ・なんと長野駅から徒歩5分、という好立地の場所に佇む「Mash Café & Bed NAGANO」さん。しかも、2019年7月にオープンされたということで、まだまだ新しくて、しかもリーズナブルなドミトリー宿泊施設となります。 ・1Fがバーカウンターやテーブル席のあるカフェラウンジ&ワークスペースとなっており、宿泊者だけでなく一般の方も利用されます。 ・まさに「旅する人と、暮らす人が、自由に集い、出会える場所を。」というお店さんのコンセプト通りですね。 ・2F･3Fが宿泊者専用の施設です。宿泊者は、電源完備のワークスペースの利用が無料で、かつドリンクバーも無料という嬉しいサービスまでついています。 ～お部屋～～～ ・今まで伺ったドミトリーの中で、結構上位の綺麗さを誇ります。さすが出来立てほやほや、ということはありますね。訪問は9月でしたが、空調の具合も程よくて好きでした。 ・室内は、ハンガー2つ、USB口の電源1つ、コンセントタイプの電源口1つ、小物置き場、と割とシンプルな構成。電子デバイスを沢山お持ちの方は電源が足りないと思いますので、予めコンセントタップをご用意されるとよいかと思います。 ・室内の電気は暗めです。ただ、動き回るのに苦労はしません。コンセント口に付属の非常用電灯みたいな感じと言えば伝わりますかね。・部屋番号ごとのロッカーはありますが、中サイズなのであまり大きなものは入れられません。貴重品のみをいれるとよいかと。ただし、各ドミトリーの下には隙間があるので、みなさんそこにキャリーなどの大きな荷物を置かれていました。 ～アメニティ～ ・特に用意はされていません。必要に応じて、歯ブラシやカミソリ、タオル、バスタオル、部屋着レンタルなどを1Fのカフェで購入できます。 ・各共用スペースには以下のものが設置されていました。こちらは無料にて利用できます。 　＊ ボディソープ／シャンプー／コンディショナー／ドライヤー／アイロン／電子レンジ／湯沸かしポット／冷蔵庫 ～お風呂～～～ ・共有のシャワースペースのみです。6室くらいありましたが、人が少ない時はお掃除が大変なせい？かわかりませんが、衛生面の関係で利用できるのは2つほどでした。 ・足ふきマットの代わりとなる珪藻土は、割と前の方の使用感が伝わりますので、気にされる方は別途タオルなどをご準備された方が良いかと思います。 ・シャワー個室は脱衣所から鍵をかけられる仕様になっているので、貴重品なども一緒にもって入れます。また、洗面台があるのも嬉しいですね。 ・共用部分にドライヤーが2つほど、洗面台が3つほどあります。平日利用ということもあったせいか、特段、馬っていて使えないことはありませんでした。 ～設備～～～～ ・シンプルながら不便を感じない、なかなか充実した設備でした。安く泊まれるドミトリーとしては、綺麗さの保たれていましたし、かなり心地よく過ごせる設備全般かと思います。（海外のドミトリーとか経験すると日本のドミトリーはほぼどれもよいです。笑　が、そんな中でもお値段と比較してもかなり良い方かと思います） ・トイレは、1Fに男女1つずつ、2Fに男性用2つ、男女共用1つ3Fに女性用が2つほどあります。ただ、FloorMapには2Fのトイレが女性マークになっていたので、その時の宿泊者数に応じてトイレの男女を入れ替えているのかもしれませんね。 ・シャワールームは、2Fに男女共用、3Fに女性専用がそれぞれあります。 ・2Fは階段かエレベーターで、3Fは基本的にエレベーターで上がります。 ・1Fのワークスペースカウンターもかなり良いです。各席に電源コンセント1つとUSB口1つずつあります。また、ドリンクバーが飲み放題なので、別途コンビニなどで調達する手間やコストもなく、持ち物の減量できる嬉しさがあります。 ～その他（個人的にとどめておこうと感じた点）～ ＊ 夜は店員さんが不在になります。 　- 宿も含めて施設にいる店員さんはカフェラウンジがオープンしている間のみが基本となるようです。それ以外の時間帯は、問い合わせは基本的にできませんので、気になることは予め確認しておかれた方が良いです。特に、1F入口の暗証番号キーはお忘れにならないように、スマホで撮影して持ちあることをお勧めします。入れなくなります笑 ＊ ドリンクバーは夜間～早朝は使えないときもあります。 　- 上記に伴い、ドリンクバーのグラスは店員さん不在の間は洗うことができないため、準備されたコップがなくなり次第、利用不可となります。恐らくお店さんとしても、衛生面から使用済みのコップをお客さんが勝手に洗って使うことは推奨されないと思いますので、どうしても・・・という場合は、ご自身で使い捨てカップなど用意されるとよいかなと思います。詳細は宿に確認されてみてください。 ＊ 連泊でもシーツ交換は有料です。 　- 連泊の場合は、シーツは何泊してもずーっと同じです。変えてほしい場合は別途500円必要となります。 ＊ 12:00-22:00は、1Fで持ち込み飲食できません。 　- 宿泊者でも、日中は1Fで持ち込み飲食はNGとなります。恐らく、カフェラウンジとして一般の方も受け入れていらっしゃっているので、持ち込みできる人とそうでない人が共存するのが難しいからではないかと。3Fに小さめですがラウンジがあるので、そこでなら持ち込み飲食可能です。また、カフェラウンジ営業時間外なら1Fでも自由に持ち込み飲食可能です。22:00以降に1Fで近くで購入してきたものを広げて酒盛りをするのはOKということです。 ＊ チェックアウト10:00は守りましょう。 　- チェックアウト10:00は絶対です。1Fのワークスペースもチェックアウト日の10:00以降は一切使えなくなりますので、お仕事利用される方は要注意です。連泊日の場合は問題なく継続して利用可能です。 ＊ 割とシャープな対応されることも。 　- 常連さんや店員さんと仲良くなられた方にとっては結構な天国だと思います。常に笑って接してくださいます。 　- それ以外の場合は、良くも悪くも機械的な印象があります。他での笑顔を見ている分、逆にちょっと対応がシャープだなぁとすら感じる場面もありました。忙しいタイミングに話しかけてしまったのかわかりませんが、特に悪いことや粗相をした記憶もないので「なんか、すいません・・・」と小さく心の中でつぶやいておきましたm(_ _)m 　- 安く泊まれる宿としての機能を求めていれば、特に気になることもないかと思いますが、そのギャップもあるかも、くらいに構えておいて損はないかと思います。笑　- とはいえ、受け入れ態勢自体はあるようですので、むしろ、ご自身から仲良く話しかけたら楽

The hotel is only a few minutes away from Nagano. It is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff is kind and courteous. The rooms are clean and tidy. There are different types of pillows, bath agents and skin care products in the lobby. Even the water provided in the ordinary room is available. The hotel also lets guests choose their own vending machines in the lobby, which is very good 👍🏼👍🏼

The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the JR station, and there are bus stops to Kamikochi and Hakuba nearby. The hotel looks like a converted commercial meeting place. The reception desk is located on the second floor. The staff is very polite and introduces the hotel facilities when checking in. There is a bathhouse on the tenth floor. Remember to use the elevator on the left to go to the tenth floor. There are all-you-can-eat ice bars on the second and tenth floors. Dessert. The room is spacious, the bathroom is slightly soundproofed, and you can hear conversations in the next room. Overall feeling good

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a really clean and comfortable hotel and just a 7 minute walk from Nagano Station, a 7 minute walk to bus stop 23 for the Snow Monkey Park and close to a variety of restaurants and bars. It is also 15/20 minutes to Zenko-Ji which is a beautiful Buddhist temple and well worth visiting. We didn’t have breakfast included during our stay but other guests said that it was really good. Our room was really clean, spacious and comfortable with a firm mattress, a tv, toiletries and a kettle. In reception you can help yourself to teas, coffee and other toiletries for free which was helpful. The staff were really friendly and patient as we don’t speak Japanese. Our room was next to the railway line but the sound proofing was excellent and it was so quiet and we had two good nights of sleep. A comfortable and clean hotel that is conveniently located for exploring Negano.

I should have booked ”no smoking” from the official site of the inn, but I received a ”smoking” in the reservation completion email, and I called the front desk while tilting my neck, and I received a guide that there was no non smoking room. Crying crying even though the budget is over＋ I switched to the room called J floor for 1,000 yen, and this was unexpectedly a ”hit” judgment. I checked in at about 15:00 and felt that I should have enjoyed it. Also, the face washing form is not clearly cheap. The comb is also easy to use with both rough eyes and a little fine, and it is a room with a lot of happy measures for women. On the other hand, the J floor sells the good view, and the view is certainly good, but I think it is NG to ask for the beauty of nature (mountain and tree) because Nagano city itself is a city. ＜ The atmosphere of the whole hotel ＞ Because of the business hotel and the JAL series, there are many guests who seem to be business trips, and tourist guests are also more calm. Now there are some prefectures, and in the future, we will do it nationwide, so the restaurant here is absolutely the aim. If you say strong, it is not for those who want to peek into the dishes with young and giggling. ＜ Breakfast ＞ Japanese and Western mixed cherry blossoms with local ingredients Viking form Business hotels have a large number of items, and there is no misunderstanding in the range of eating. There are several videos that you're introducing, so please refer to them.I liked ”handmade ume-name mushroom”, ”tempura”, ”miso wae of soba fruit” and ”oyaki” privately. The dishes related to miso are using Shinshu miso and you can enjoy ”Nagano no Taste”, so I think you should try at least one kind. (I'm lost whether I can write my true sound, but it's better to eat at this hotel than eat at the outside shop) Nagano Station ～ Based on the good location between Zenko Ji Temple, I think it was a very good hotel. Next time I go sightseeing in Nagano, I will not dare to change the inn from here.

The bus from Shinjuku station can go directly, but Nagano station was a little far from the hotel, But the hotel atmosphere was good, old but beautiful! !! !!

The Ryokan's owner and wife had been very friendly and welcoming during my stay, with prompt reply to my inquiries even before my stay. Having traveled to Nagano straight after a red-eye flight, I really appreciate the fact that they allowed me to check-in earlier on that day. The Ryokan is located very near to Zenko-ji Temple, allowing you to avoid the crowd to visit the Temple in the early morning. The Ryokan is also a 20min simple walk away from Nagano station. The Ryokan is equipped with modern facilities while preserving the traditional Ryokan vibe, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food served were delectable and hearty, with an impressive variety. I definitely see myself coming back again to stay if I travel to Nagano again.

The public bath is not very big, but it was very clean and nice. The room is still new and very clean, so I think it was good to use it. Also, even though I was late for check-in, I felt comfortable with a very good response. There were many kinds of breakfast, and it was so big that I could not eat all kinds. In addition, we thought that we wanted to use if there was opportunity.
