The Crystal Resort Sun Moon Lake
4.3/555 Reviews
Sun Moon Lake Ita Thao Wharf Market Place
The breakfast is delicious, the staff service is appropriate, but the parking is a bit inconvenient. If it can be improved, it can be more perfect. Unfortunately, the sky is not beautiful, the bathroom is still a bit missing, and the iron frame on the bathtub is not cleaned!
Sunrise Private Villa

Puli Winery
The environment is quiet and it feels great. I want to go again next time.
JIJI 16

Jiji Village
The service is cordial and the environment is quiet. It is highly recommended to live here in Jiji. If you come to Taiwan, you must come to this beautiful place to stay.
Lealea Garden Hotels Moon

Sun Moon Lake Ita Thao Wharf Market Place
Visited sun moon lake and held a small bday party in the room. Spacious room for balloons! The room still has plenty spaces even with two of my 1.5m number balloons. Balcony is perfect for Instagram shots, better use flashlight or else the background is lighter than your face. When we visited in December, there weren't much rain so a part of the lake close to the hotel is just muddy and brown, so just adjust the camera angle and your picture will still look nice. Close to the harbour, convenience stores, and the souvenir street. It has a huge parking lot 3 min away from the hotel, rmb to bring an umbrella in case it pours mid way. Elevators large enough to fit in a family of five with suitcases. The staff was nice and check us in efficiently. Tea and snacks are provided, and rooms are clean. They locate my granny's room next to us - really appreciate this. Overall, 10 out of 10. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit Taiwan. Btw I visited back in 2020/12 not 2021/12, trip advisor didn't provide me the option to choose 2020.
Howard Resort Xitou
4.1/561 Reviews
Xitou Monster Village
In Xitou Forest, it is only ranked first, not second. This time I stayed in the university building. The building is located closest to the driveway exit. The building is divided into four buildings abcd. They all have two floors and no elevators. However, they have stairs and ramps. If you have too much or heavy luggage or have difficulty moving, you can still go directly. It's not too inconvenient to drive up to the top to load and unload luggage. We stayed in the innermost room in Building B this time. There was no noise and we couldn't hear the noise from next door. There was just the hum of the engine outside the air conditioner outside the window. You can still hear a little bit even if the windows are closed, so those who care are advised to wear earplugs. The room has an extra large double bed and a regular double bed, a coffee table and two chairs, a TV, a clothes rack, a pantry and a refrigerator. The space is okay. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas, and the shower side is a bit narrow. I was a little embarrassed to use a bathtub and a chair to help my four-year-old son bathe. I had to be careful about hitting my head when turning around or holding the child. The items are all clean, tidy and practical. You can also borrow beds, bathtubs, chairs and stools. This season, it is very comfortable at night without air conditioning. The beds also come with electric blankets, which were preheated when we entered the room, but we didn't use them. So it was turned off. Breakfast is served at the Yunshan Building opposite until 9:30, and hotel guests can participate in free nightly guided tours.
Fullon Poshtel Shuili
4.3/534 Reviews
For a trip to Sun Moon Lake and Shanlin Creek, I chose the Fullon Hotel in Shuili, which is located in the middle location. The ”service quality” of the new hotel's front desk staff was not very stable. During the four-day and three-night stay, some encountered guests who were too lazy to talk to guests and had no breakfast time. Friendly receptionist. Advantages: This hotel provides smart toilet seats, a one-day tea ceremony shower gel that tastes good, and No. 18 Sun Moon Lake black tea bags are also delicious; Disadvantages: It does not provide toothpaste and toothbrushes, which can be understood as environmental protection considerations, and there are no slippers and laundry bags. The bed is too hard and the down pillow is too soft, which may be suitable for older people or those who are lying down. However, for guests who are used to sleeping on their sides or stomach, even if they ask for an extra pillow, it will still be difficult to fall asleep at night. Breakfast offers three flavors of rice balls to choose from. The dishes and fruits on the buffet bar are filling but the variety is limited. I like the main light in the room, the bedside lamp, to be of appropriate brightness, but there is no night light. I am afraid that I will not be temporarily disoriented in the unfamiliar environment at night, so I can only use the bathroom light to replace it all night long.
