Fantastic night. Absolutely phenomenal food and service. I would urge anyone who wants to come to Berkshire to book this venue either for bed and breakfast or an evening meal. Anna and all her staff are so welcoming. Such a beautiful country pub with fabulous food, service and staff.

Great location, lovely bar staff, comfy bed, the perfect stay! Would recommend anyone to come and stay here. The food was also lovely and the wait wasn’t long! Great selection of pints and wine cannot wait to go again. Thanks so much to the lovely staff!

The Bull have begun serving their Christmas menus quite early and we decided to try out their 3 courses for £25 deal. It was excellent! Complementary glass of mulled wine to start which was perfect on such a chilly day. Generous and tasty starters - we had soup and prawn cocktail. I don’t normally choose soup as it’s quite filling but it was really delicious! Then traditional roast turkey for the mains; the meat was succulent with plenty of veg to accompany, including a side dish of cauliflower & broccoli cheese. The desserts were beautifully presented and a good size to end the meal. Service was attentive and friendly and the bar/restaurant area had a nice atmosphere with a log burning stove & pretty Christmas decorations. Definitely really good value. The only thing I would change was the music which didn’t really add to the atmosphere - something more subtle would be good, although we were glad the Christmas songs haven’t started yet!

Lovely country pub with lovely staff and lovely roasts. Very good value for the size of the portions. Crispy roast potatoes, hot veg and melt in the mouth pork belly. It was nice to have open fires as it gave a warm feeling to a lovely old building.

We had a Sunday roast at the Bull this weekend. The food was awful, the beef was tough, the roast potato’s tasted awful and the gravy tasteless, the pub looked and felt dirty, and the head waitress was rude. Something has definitely changed since we last visited a year ago, and definitely wasn’t worth the £70 spent. This pub has gone downhill.

Met some friends here for lunch today. Chose this pub as it was convenient for us all and I was very pleased with my decision. We ate from the 3 courses for £23 menu; there was a good choice and the food was all hot and delicious with good portion sizes too. It was a shame it was so quiet but we were well looked after in a very nice environment. We will return.

The Bull Inn is in a beautiful location. Picture perfect. This was our first visit but will definitely return. The breakfast was delicious. During our stay the staff went above & beyond to accommodate us after a booking error. True hospitality at its best.

Went in for lunch over the weekend, the pub itself is lovely and very well decorated. However the service is slow, the food took around 40 minutes to arrive and we were disappointed with the quality. I do not recommend ordering a pizza as this is no better than a cheap oven pizza, the other bits we ordered were okay but not worth the cost. Our bill came to £70 for one pizza, a few sharing plates and one drink each...not at all worth it.
