"Really great location where you’re at the heart of the city where every spot is walkable, with darling harbour just minutes away. The room is more than enough space for one, with luxe touches to add pizazz to the stay. The housekeeping team were very accommodating to clean the room daily, even on days where I’m leaving the hotel later in the afternoon. On my last day, I requested a later checkout, albeit at a fee, but the staff were able to kindly accommodate quite quickly. Overall, will be staying here again on my next yearly visit to Sydney."

"I only stayed 1 night so its hard to give a good review. The place is like a residential apartment. Lots of space, very clean and has what you need. There is a small pool and underground parking for $15 a day. The staff were friendly enough. I did have an issue with the key after hours and even after calling I got no assistand another guest let me in. I dont like their key system and its stairs up to the 3rd floor."

"Perfect location for those on a cruise! A super easy 3-minute walk from the terminal! The rooms are large, not new, but totally fine for a historic building. And that amazing pool with a view of the Harbor, bridge, and Opera House is just incredible!"

"Close to the airport. I met two young people who had flown from Melbourne to Sydney, and walked over from Sydney's domestic terminal. The room facilities are a bit dated, but it probably would have been considered a five-star hotel in the 90s. There's only one power outlet on one side of the bed. Some light switches aren't by the bedside, so you have to get out of bed to turn them off, like the hallway light. The room is quiet. There's a hotel shuttle running all day between Sydney's three terminals. It costs 12 AUD per person. It takes about 20 minutes to reach T1, the furthest terminal. If there are many people, a taxi would be more cost-effective. Breakfast is a simple Western style. For Chinese options, there's congee with pickled vegetables. The pickled vegetables were fermented bamboo shoots, similar to those found in Luosifen (river snail noodles), haha."

"This hotel offers an exceptionally comfortable sleep experience! What's fantastic is that the room is free from any allergenic odors and light that could disturb sleep. The bedding is comfortable, and the temperature is just right for a good night's rest. In terms of sleep quality, it's among the top hotels I've stayed at, even compared to many ultra-luxury 5-star properties. The room type is very spacious, and it comes with a sofa bed, which is great for families with children. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, and within short walking distance to the Opera House and the wharf. The service is impeccable and faultless. The only minor drawback is that the restaurant breakfast is quite mediocre. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sydney."

"Upon arrival the room smelled like stale cigarettes and stagnant water which was extremely unpleasant. I had to prop the door open with my suitcase to get fresh air in with the window open. I ended up going to the supermarket to buy carpet deodoriser and air freshener to get the smell out. I could still smell it when I left after 2 days. When I went to get into bed it was very obvious the bed had been slept in and the pillowcase had not been changed. I had to strip the bed and make it with what was left over with the sheet that goes over the doona. I know it was NYE and paid over $600 a night for the room, but wasn’t expecting the room to not smell ok and have fresh linen."

"Snazzy hotel in a great location. The surrounding area is very quiet during the evenings and weekends. The hotel is very close to a Woolsworth (supermarket), as well as other eateries/bakeries. The train station is also fairly close — be aware that entrances to the station via the connecting mall-plaza will be closed in the later evening and on weekends."

"Check in was a smooth and easy Christopher went above and beyond. Absolute legend!! Only negative was I always strip the bed to make the job of the housekeeping staff a little easier but the stains on the bedding were disgusting."

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning view from our room and balcony—absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t have been better, with most attractions within walking distance. Watching the Vivid Light Show from the comfort of our balcony was a particularly memorable experience. However, the room itself was quite dated and in need of refurbishment. The carpet was noticeably worn with dark patches, and parts of the bathroom were peeling. On the plus side, housekeeping did service the room daily, which was appreciated. One downside was the misleading information about parking. Although the website mentioned parking, there was none available on-site. We had to use Wilson's parking next door, which came at a steep price. All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for the location and views alone, but be prepared for a room that’s seen better days."

"Five stars to all the front desk and housekeeping staff! As I'm writing this, I'm at the last stop of my Australia trip, and out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this Pullman has had the best service attitude, quality, and responsiveness. Every single front desk agent was super enthusiastic and patient. Also, I saw other reviews mentioning no slippers or toothbrushes, but they actually do have them – you just need to ask. There aren't any bottled water in the room, but there's an empty bottle, and you can simply go to the first floor to refill it. The facilities are a bit dated, and the cleanliness is neither outstanding nor bad, just what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The view of Hyde Park from the window is excellent, and it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with easy walking access to all the attractions."
