Numad Studios
"Very clean and cozy, the staff is kind and helpful. The bus to the center is right next to the hotel, runs every ~10min, and takes about 25min. You can get a 6 or 12 -trip card from the reception, which is cheaper than individual tickets."
Hotel Maria Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Sebastian
"Excellent breakfast. Definitely take that."
Sercotel Hotel Europa
"We stayed at apartment room, right next to the mail hotel complex. It was one bedroom suite with kitchen. Well equipped but the building itself was very old. Convenient to central and old town and everything is within the walking distance. Recommend to family who needs space and like to feel at home."
ARIMA Hotel & Spa – Small Luxury Hotels
"Very nice hotel, incredible rooms and even better amenities. The restaurant is amazing as well. Slightly out of town but the buses are regular or uber / taxi for €10 to the centre of San Sebastian."
Room Mate Collection Gorka, San Sebastián
"Second time staying at this hotel and still loving it so much. Close to old town and shopping area with good food choices just downstairs."
Leonardo Boutique Hotel San Sebastián
"Great little hotel with perfect location"
Barceló Costa Vasca
"very clean place. lovely stay. a bummer pool is only open during summer."
Abba San Sebastián Hotel
"A boutique hotel close to the Dona Katalina Zubia. There are two entrances to the hotel, the main one facing the road and the other entrance facing the Urumea River. Staff were friendly and always had a smile. The hotel is quite clean and everything is within 15mins walk. The amenities are limited, but there is a 24 hour reception and bar downstairs, a nice roof top sunbathing area and a gym. Please double check the other amenities listing when booking, as I don't recall seeing the Public Bath, Foot Bath and Clothes Dryer as advertise. I would also suggest to check the batteries of the remotes before someone check ins, as I had to request it to be changed and it wasn't available until the next day, more compliment bottles of water and dental kits (given there was 3 of us and only 2 bottles and 1 kit). Overall though, I enjoyed the stay and would come back again."
Leonardo Hotel San Sebastian
"The hotel is a short distance away from the city centre and Old Town but there is a bus stop directly outside the entrance and buses run regularly. The hotel is of a high standard and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend to others."

Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra
"I like this location , opposite to the beach. Walking distance to old town and having the best cheese cake there"
Zenit Convento San Martin
"Our stay at the Zenit Convento San Martin was a great experience. The hotel is ideally located and within walking distance to the old town, shopping streets and beach. The service staff is generally good and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable, and the beds are of good quality. Highly recommended."
Abba Apartments Playa de Gros San Sebastián
"Superbly equipped apartment, with lots of thoughtful touches for guests, clean, and comfortable. Great location. I love this place."
Nobu Hotel San Sebastián
"An incredible hotel with an amazing, attentive team who made the stay truly special."
Lasala Plaza Hotel
"Romantic luxury hotel for adults only. Fabulous location on the fringes of San Sebastian's Parte Vieja (Old Town), hence within walking distance of many famous bars and restaurants and shopping areas. Has a rooftop with a panoramic view of La Concha Bay and the city - this was where we watched the Copa del Rey celebrations and enjoyed spectacular sunsets. Fabulous rooms, posh and luxurious, healthy breakfasts. So happy we made a last minute switch to this hotel."
Hotel Avenida
"Good hotel"
Villa Eugenia Boutique Hotel
"Excellent hotel and staff, all was easy and will repeat it without doubt. Wonderful location and excellent breakfast. Modern rooms with great style and taste, quiet where you will relax phenomenal."
Hotel Gudamendi
"Beautiful setting, stunning views. Room very nice and spacious and best of all there was a bath! Facilities need updating though. Either a kettle in the room or a coffee vending machine would be good. Staff in the cafe need customer service training. Polite enough but not good when there's more than one customer waiting. Food could be better, although the snacks to buy were ok. In this day and age something hot for breakfast would be nice. They also need to get some decent tea bags. No wonder they don't like tea on the continent - they don't make it properly . With a few tweaks this could be a wow place to stay"
Boutique Hotel Mendi Argia
"Wow! Amazing small hotel in the hills overlooking San Sebastián, very stylish high end accommodation, large room , very nicely furnished, great bed and superb bathroom. Lovely common lounge for drinks and breakfast, great way to meet other travellers. Staff young but very polite and accommodating, especially Anja, well done. English a struggle, but better than my Spanish!"
Villa Birdie Boutique - Adults Only
"I stayed at Villa Birdie on early this year and the hotel was very nice. Everything we needed and expected was there. The host was very friendly and helped us with some issued that we had. Very good stay. I did my reservation with United Airlines miles. Before arriving I had to make a change in the reservation and did not notice that after making the change I was going to lose all the miles I had spent in my original reservation. After returning home I noticed that the miles were not credited to my account and it is then when I noticed that I had lost them. I proceeded to contact the owner to see if she could help me but she did not answer my calls, blocked me on whatsapp and did not answer my emails. Very dissapointed that I have to write this message."
Catalonia Donosti
"Great location and views. Easy access to the city and beach."
Akelarre - Relais & Châteaux
"My husband and I just finished a 5 night stay at Hotel Akelarre. Overall, we had a good experience with the actual room and location but a very average experience in terms of level of service for a 5-star hotel at such an expensive rate. Pros - Gorgeous location, perched on a mountaintop overlooking San Sebastian - Rooms were clean and spacious - Sunset views were unparalelled - 3-Michelin star restaurant Akelare is on property (though need to make reservations well in advance and separately), and it lives up to the number of stars Cons - Level of service left much to be desired: despite having only 22 rooms, breakfast was painstakingly slow and none of the staff recognized us even though we went to breakfast and entered/exited the hotel every day. By contrast, we stayed at similar size & star level hotels in Barcelona and Sevilla and received much better service that felt a lot more welcoming. - The place felt more like it was optimized for people who were going to the restaurant or going to the property to have drinks to enjoy the view. At bare minimum, I would have expected that the staff would recognize who was staying at the hotel vs. who was a temporary guest there for drinks and treat us differently...but no, one evening upon going down to the terrace level to enjoy the sunset, we were told that we could only sit there if we planned on purchasing a cocktail, even though when we checked into the hotel, we were told that we could enjoy the terrace level for getting some sun. - Hotel restaurant food is good but pretty overpriced. You're in a bit of a food dessert that high up the mountain. - Hotel staff will tell you to take taxis into town as the primary mode of transport, but don't listen to them: TAKE THE BUS! It's about 20 euro each way for a taxi, and less than 2 euro each way for the public bus (even less if you get a bus pass). The bus is super convenient, has two stops close to the hotel (which the staff did not tell us about), and runs about every 30 minutes during the day."
Zenit San Sebastián
"It is a bit far from the center of San Sebastian!! Walking back and forth to the central area frequently might be a bit of a hassle!! It should be fine if you use public transportation. La Concha Beach is practically the city center, so it might be a bit difficult if the weather is hot!! Please keep this in mind when booking!! Everything else was fine!!"
Luze Boutique San Sebastián
"Beautiful hotel in the country side of San Sebastian. Very helpful staff, the Manager Borja couldn't do enough for us. Smooth and enjoyable stay. The restaurant offers fine dining, you must try."
NH Collection Aranzazu
"Loved this hotel! We'll happily come back again!"
Hotel Arrizul Congress
"Great place except for one terribly unfriendly front desk woman and an extremely small gym that has no heat and is almost outside in the first place."
Intelier Villa Katalina
"Loved the hotel. Quiet, clean good sized bedroom and bathroom. Good location as short walk to Old Town… we needed it after all the eating in San Sebastián"
Hotel Tres Reyes San Sebastián
"Amazing stay! Great location near nature and only 15 minutes from city. Nice interior, helpful personnel and best breakfasts!"
Hotel Arbaso
"Located on a quiet street right in the heart of town, a few minutes walk to the old town and to the beach, this is a gem of a hotel, clean, modern and with an excellent restaurant attached. The staff are very helpful and attentive in multiple languages. One of the best recent hotel stays I've experienced. Thank you."
