Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Tacoma

Hotel was nice. Clean large room. Appeared to be recently remodeled. Good hot breakfast. Plenty of parking. Downsides: Sketchy part of town. We were on second floor and could hear all the noise from the pool. Thankfully it closed at 10 each night. No car chargers. If we were in tacoma again we would probably stay here again. One of the cleaner nicer hotels at this mid range price (200-300/night with taxes and fees)
Hotel Murano

Does the fragrance of coffee brewing at 6:30 help start the day? Do hot eggs and sausage provide energy for chilly mornings? After work, does music sound welcoming by a fireplace in a lobby? Does the taste of local seafood chowder and creme brulee sound delicious? From the check-in desk to the elevator lobbies, and rooms, awesome glass art is exhibited, along with the artists' inspirational quotes. Some artists are from all around the world; some are Tacoma's fine artists, skilled in locally producing art using techniques learned from Murano, Italy. Quiet rooms remind weary travelers that, ”Silence is golden.” Sweet dreams and wishing you, too, many happy Murano Memories!

Very clean and nice staff. Nice room for a good price in a good location. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The gated parking garage was a plus. The room felt older and had a little wear and tear, but was we did enjoy it. Would stay there again

we brought our wrestling team here for state wrestling. there are two different buildings. the building with the lobby seems to be updated and nicer than the building we were put up in. the hallways stunk. some of our doors did not lock. there was no hot water. not safe to even walk in the hallways alone. loud noise all night. no screen in the windows of the 3rd floor room. we were quite nervous about the safety of our team. we took pictures and have asked our travel team to never book us here again. the rooms were large enough and the fridge and microwaves did work. beds were comfortable and sheets seemed to be clean.
