Hotels near Frondly Plants Point Grey, Vancouver

This hotel could be so much better, especially for the price. On the positive side, the staff, including the concierge, Lisa, and the whole crew on the G floor are outstanding - the most friendly and helpful people. My suite was comfortable and quiet. The king size bed was firm. The air conditioner works well. The bathroom is big. The hotel location is good, near museums and Yaletown, with restaurants and boutiques nearby. The gym and the pool area are also good and, not many hotels in the city have an outdoor pool. The negatives are the extreme neglect regarding renovation and cleaning. For example, with COVID still an issue, after I checked in and stayed the first night in the hotel, I found an empty bottle of water behind the sofa and an used and dirty shirt near the bed. I did not noticed it immediately, because I arrived at 2 am and went straight to bed. To get my room cleaned daily was an ordeal. The hotel apologizes for being understaffed, but the prices were high, around CAD $5.500 for a week’s stay. If you cannot deliver the service, you should not be charging for it, The carpets and the curtains look old, dirty and shabby in the room and common areas. But by far the worse things about the Hilton Vancouver are the elevators. It is not unusual to wait 15 minutes, I am not exaggerating, to go from your floor to the lobby. I understand there is a shortage of workers in Vancouver, but some of the disappointing features of the Hilton could, in my opinion, be addressed by management that cares and is committed to providing guests with what they deserve based on their rates.

This was perfectly adequate for my one night stay prior to a cruise. The location is easily accessible from the train from the airport and less than a mile from the cruise terminal. It is no frills but clean. I had a shared bathroom which was a concern but it was fine. You share the bathroom with another room and you will hear them in there but, again, it was one night. There was a sink in the room which was good as you didn't need the bathroom for basic teeth brushing, etc. If I was doing an overnight in Vancouver again, I'd go back.

The location is great, as it's just next to the Sky Train station and also close to the airport. The size of the suite is perfect for a family of 4 like us. It is a surprise that the hotel has a indoor swimming pool with slide, kids were happy!

On Sept 15, I attended the Pink Floyd Roger Waters concert downtown and stayed in my most favorite room, there jacuzzi loft suite for 2 very relaxing nights. The first night me and a buddy went to Moxies for a quick pasta dinner before heading to the concert. We used Uber to Roger's arena and back to the hotel at nights end, I was amazed how inexpensive both trips were from and back to the hotel, $25 each direction, can't beat that!!! The hotel is very centrally located to anywhere you need to go especially if using Uber or Lyft. The second Night my girlfriend joined me in the room and we did absolutely nothing except request a late checkout for the following checkout day, and we sat in the jacuzzi all afternoon and night while ordering take out from there on-site restaurant, Moxies. This room has everything you need and more, when I stay in this room, I try to make sure there is no reason to leave. For those who have not experienced there jacuzzi loft suite, it is highly recommended to put on your bucket list for your next staycation. Jake was my check in agent whom was very professional, outgoing, great at what he does, and I would definitely have him manage my reservation anytime from making the reservation all the way to checkout, great job Jake!! The front desk Staff was very approachable at all times and they all deserve recognition as you can tell by watching them that they work as a team. Another staycation in the books!! I had a really nice time at this home-sweet-home guest house in Vancouver. The house was lovely and cozy, with very clean rooms and great facilities that were just as good as those in a fancy hotel just like a 4-star hotel at a very reasonable price in Vancouver city. The owner of the house was friendly and made my stay even better. The house is in a great spot, super close to the airport and it's easy to get to downtown Vancouver. I really liked staying there. I can't wait to go back if I visit Vancouver again. It's a great place to be comfy and close to everything you. I'd recommend you to choose it when you visit Vancouver next time. 我在温哥华这家温馨的宾馆度过了一段非常愉快的时光。房子可爱又舒适，房间非常干净，设施一流，与豪华酒店的四星级酒店一样好，而且价格非常合理。房子的主人很友好，让我的住宿体验变得更好。房子位置很好，离机场超级近，去温哥华市中心也很方便。我真的很喜欢呆在那里，我想你也应该呆在那里。如果我再次访问温哥华，我迫不及待地想回去。这是一个舒适且靠近您所需一切的好地方。

My family of 5 stayed overnight in Sept, prior to another flight the following day. The hotel was welcoming and the room completely acceptable. The Bed was comfortable and there were not complaints for the children regarding the sofa bed or the rollaway, which was requested. The free shuttle from and to the airport takes weight off your shoulders. Great when you're new to a large city or you don't require a rental. Thos is our second time here in 6 years. Standard is unchanged. Staff friendly and as mentioned welcoming and totally acceptable. Thanks Team. Steve

Our stay started off really well. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us check in early. I went to have a shower before going to the concert we were in town for and found that the tub drain was plugged and the tub not draining. I had received a txt earlier ask how the room use and to text if we need anything. So I text that the tub was are draining. I did not get a response and left the room to go out. We thought we would come back the drain being unplugged but instead came back to nothing done. We went to the front desk to ask for a plunger to try and fix ourselves as it had been 7 hours and still no response. We tried to plug the drain but it did not help. When we returned the plunger the front desk person offered us another room but being in out pj’s and it after midnight we stayed in the room. They said maintenance would be back at 7am. We went to check out at 11, still no response to txt and no maintenance person to fix tub. The desk person apologized and offered us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant but they would only give us bacon or sausage and eggs. Being vegan and vegetarian that was not going to work. The restaurant said they could not offer anything else. We went back to the front desk and the manager wouldn’t allow the front desk person to do anything else for unless we wanted McDonald’s. Looking forward to getting home tonight to shower.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Burnaby location in order to attend a dinner function nearby. We checked into our room and the heater was already on and set at 68 and seemed to be working OK. Shortly after we arrived in the room, a maintenance person knocked on the door to see how the heater was working. That should have clued us in as to what would happen next. A bit later, the unit started to spit out cooler air. I might add that the unit never cycled off and on as it should. I turned the unit up to around 72 to see if that would make a difference but no it did not. We contacted the front desk and within 5 minutes, maintenance came to check. We were told that the heater had to remain at 68, no higher or it wouldn’t work. I have never heard of such a thing. High temperature in Vancouver was mid 40's dipping into the 30's at night. By this time, it was 5:30 and we had to head out the door for the dinner event at 6PM. I wish we would have demanded a different room, because when we returned it was definitely cooler in the room. We were both tired and needed to leave the hotel early in the morning so we decided to “gut it out”. I looked for additional blankets and there were none. I wound up sleeping a total of 2 hours in my coat. This was not a comfortable experience.  I am generously giving this property 2 stars as the room itself was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk clerk kindly gave us a 50% discount for our discomfort which was the best she could do, but when I contacted their HQ was offered a 50% discount off a future stay. Don't think I will take them up on that offer, but thanks anyway.

This is our second year in a row booking at the Element Metrotown Burnaby for our soccer tournaments. Roxanne in group bookings was super helpful and awesome to work with because she helped me organized the accommodations. I had no idea what I was doing. Rafael at the front desk was friendly, helpful and he remembers everything. The location was excellent with many food options, groceries, and a mall. The rooms were spacious and gorgeous with great views. The kitchen with full fridge was very convenient for 4 occupancies. The beds are also very comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel is truly nice. The driver and I had a difficult time seeing where the hotel entrance was. We had to guess. Very engaging lobby, with a check in that went very smooth. There are plenty of amenities at this hotel. Good attached restaurant. The room was very large, very nice, and very comfortable. Very large bathroom, and nice shower. However. The glaring problem here are the thin walls. Every other guest I spoke to had the same complaint. I could annoyingly hear the people walking around above my room. The housekeeping staff could be heard cleaning several rooms away. The hotel guests could be heard walking around the halls and in their rooms. A small amount of noise is to be expected at hotels, but this is just poor design and cheap building. There was also a distinct smell of vomit throughout the hotel. I am not certain if this was the result of the farm land outside, or intoxicated guests. Probably both. If you are here to gamble and drink, you may not notice any of my issues. If you are hear to sleep and work the next day, you may share my concerns.
