Very suitable for family travellers, the bar takes care of preparing hot water for babies every day, and the attitude is super good. The network is not very powerful, everything else is fine. The restaurant is highly recommended!

Once you get out of the train station, you can take the water bus. At the second stop, we dragged the suitcase and walked for 5 or 6 minutes to find the hotel. The hotel is small, but the suite has two rooms and two bathrooms, which are in line with the requirements of family or friends, and can be left alone in a single room. The hotel’s classical architecture is very comfortable and the breakfast is fully satisfying. #绝佳位置# #fully equipped#

The manager Giusy was extremely helpful and proactive, sending information before my arrival that was perfect. Housekeeping was superb, the room spotlessly clean. The building has real character and the decor is very rich and characteristic of Venice yet the facilities are modern and up to date. Pastries, every morning, were fresh and tasty, and the bed almost as good as my bed back home. The coffee supplies were always restocked, new water bottles every day, and access to all the sights was no more than 15 leisurely minutes away. Room was small but efficient, and the plumbing worked perfectly.

We were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed in a a triple deluxe room for4 nights it was very clean and spacious ,decor was typically Venetian. The beds were very comfortable and the large bathroom with a walk in shower huge sink and bidet. Breakfast was good which included bacon, scrambled egg, sausage and beans; cereals cakes and continental. The coffee was amazingly creamy for those who like their latte. The staff were all really nice and friendly.

Every aspect of this beautiful hotel is ideal. Location, staff,l and rooms - all at good value! Very easy to get to from the San Angelo Alilaguna stop- about a 5 minute walk. About the same to San Marco. A wonderful set of stores and restaurants under 3 minutes and a stone’s throw from the opera house. The staff are exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and available 24 hours a day. This is my fourth time staying and I’ve loved each room I’ve seen- all unique and charming. Breakfast is wonderful, and the setting feels like a living room. Relax as delicious cappuccino’s are brought to you, enjoying conversation and art that reflects the history of this very special hotel. Book here with confidence.

We are disappointed. This is not a 4 star hotel and highly overpriced for this poor quality. Overall feeling this is a hotel from 1990 and it was no renovation, maintenance since 30 years. We booked a ”Double Classic Room” and we got a room on the attic level which look total different than in the website images what we booked and expected. Morover we paid €325/night a month earlier but at arrival day it was just €255/night and the higher category Delux room was €288/night in their website. Which means we paid a higher price for a much lower quality room than even the Delux Room. It is not fair game. It would be fair if those lower quality rooms would be a different category with real images and for a lower price. We showed to the night receptionist that our room is different than on the website images what we booked, he was arrogant and aggressive, he repeated our room is ”correct category”. The room was on the attic level (5th floor) we can reach through a dilapidated small stair. The room has a fake air conditioner, a box which blows some air, but it is total ineffective, our room had almost 27C as we could see on the screen on the wall. Of course the receptionist said our room is 19C according to their computer, this was not true, the room was really hot. They said it is hot because of the attic floor, they provided a fan. The hotel could say they have AC, but the quality is really poor and total useless. We slept with a sleeping pill. Next day the boss lady gave us the Delux Room on the 2nd floor which was a better room than the attic one. The temperature was here ”lower” 25C with the same poor fake AC box. The hairdryer on the wall looks like a hoover from 1950, it was also total ineffective. The leathers on the chair and bed was very worn. Minibar fridge also poor quality. The ventilation in the bedroom did not work, it was like a sauna, so we needed ask service. But some hours later when we arrived our room door was open (20cm gap), the service guy forgot to close the room, fortunately earlier we have put everything in the safe box. It is a great irresponsibility from a hotel if a staff forgot to close the room of the quest. It is very sad for this base daily price the hotel unable to reinvest the money and make developments and maintaince. The location is nice, everything is very near in Venice. The other receptionist with the mustache was a nice guy. Venice has medieval design, but it does not mean the quality should be worn. For example we was also in the Gritti Palace, it was old fashion design but in good quality. Venice has 25 million tourist a year, but overall unfortunatelly the city is very dilapidated, I think it should be much more renovation and maintaince, I bet the old medieval buildings looked nice and not worn when they were built.
