The hotel has been renovated recently, outdoor design work is underway, the hospitality is sympathetic. There is a small female touch of this hotel. The good litter is what is expected most of one hotel, the relatively clean room. On the other hand, the breakfast is very short of good local products. A few details (air conditioning of the rooms after work for painting smell, household in the corners, stores in the restaurant room, parents in the rooms) this hotel has everything to succeed in view of its location.

Four night stay in this hotel. Room overlooking marina was very clean and comfortable with a huge window which could be opened. Two small chairs in the room, but a second with arms would have been good, as would a small table for tea/coffee cups and wine glasses. Bathroom a bit tired , lots of cracks on wall behind towel rail, which was a tad dusty , one bulb out over the sink...stayed that way. Room was clean though and apart from the bulb, everything worked. Issue with BBC channels on TV..none available. Ate in restaurant only once as there were lots of other places to try. Breakfast was very basic and staff did not seem to be in a rush to replenish anything, no bacon on last morning, none available, cooked food almost finished by 9am and we were not the last people down. Staff were friendly . We enjoyed our stay, especially the marine view but beware the family of very noisy ducks. Bar never seemed to full, and was a bit dark and staffless.

The hotel is very easy to find from the road, with lots of parking available if travelling by car. It is located 15 - 20 minutes walk away from Fecamp (including the train station) and a stones throw from a local Aldi if you wish to buy sandwiches etc to eat. This was ideal for us because we do a lot of walking and we’re also planning a day out in Rouen. The hotel itself is very clean (as I have found with all Ibis hotels) and the staff were absolutely fantastic! My pigeon ‘French’ makes a great laugh at times but the staff were always very helpful and we had a great laugh with them. It is an Ibis budget, so it’s a very clean bed and clean toilet facilities with not much else - let’s face it, on holiday some people only use the hotel to sleep! The breakfast falls in line with all Ibis hotels, which is a variety of ‘continental’ breakfast - which was also spotlessly clean and immaculately laid out. For touring, this is a great place to stay and I would recommend it every time.
