Hotels in Yongning Men/Xi'an Museum, Xi'an

Whenever I travel, a comfortable stay is super important as it really affects my mood for the whole trip. I was debating hotel choices before my journey and finally settled on Yunhe Yebo. From the moment I arrived, I was really pleased – the environment and service were both excellent. Every day, when leaving and returning, someone would greet us; they'd ask if we wanted water when we left and if we wanted congee when we returned. The attention to detail was perfect! I absolutely loved the overall Chinese design elements of the hotel. The room was also incredibly spacious and the soundproofing was great. We stayed for three nights, and both the adults and kids were happy. It's a shame I forgot to take photos. If I get the chance to visit Xi'an again, I'll definitely stay here.

The view was splendid. The location is PERFECT. You have 5 minutes to the metro line. The hotel is located near the city wall gates. But there are clear issues here. We only had one small window that we could open and it was actually broken. We could not close the window and it was quite noisy during the night. The widows were dirty ... very dirty. Yes there is old furniture but that is not the issue here. The AC unit is full of dust. And to top it all off... we paid extra for a room with a view just to get a room with no mini freezer. We were coming in the evening back to the hotel to drink hot water. We feel bad for the personnel because they were really nice and even allowed us to stay a little late at checkout. Not only that they were really helpful. Too bad the hotel is not maintained. That being said I would stay here again for these reasons: Location, Personnel and view. What was not ok is the maintenance of the hotel also breakfast was very weak.

This was my first leisure trip to Xi'an; I'd only been for work before, so this time I explored as a tourist. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Yongning Gate (South Gate), and the subway is a short walk away. There's also a Hilton nearby, and dining is very convenient with well-known restaurants next door. You can even see the Yongning Gate tower from here, as it's right by the Xi'an City Wall, in the first ring road area. Getting to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower is easy. We took a sightseeing bus past the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum, Northwest University Museum, and the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall – all within the first ring road and not far. You can also visit the Stele Forest Museum, Muslim Quarter, and more, with many large shopping malls nearby. I stayed here for three nights. Due to some allergies, the staff kindly and promptly moved me to another room and suggested I visit the nearest hospital, where I met a great specialist. This experience left me with a very positive impression of Xi'an before I went to see the Terracotta Warriors. The hotel's facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast and simple meals are offered; while the variety is limited, it's sufficient. There's also a free self-service laundry room. I highly recommend staying near the South Gate if you're visiting Xi'an city. It's close to attractions by subway or taxi, and perfect for enjoying the night views and dining.

This hotel is just a five-minute walk from Yongningmen subway station, and very close to the Bell Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Muslim Quarter. There are also many great food options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk was quick with the invoice – the service was excellent. The breakfast had a huge variety and was delicious. I had an early flight at 7 AM, and the front desk proactively provided yogurt and bread, which was a huge plus 👍. If I come to Xi'an again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

The hotel's environment, facilities, and service all exceeded my expectations. The location is super convenient; I could see Yongning Gate and the city wall right from my room. The subway station and a shopping mall are just downstairs. We booked last minute, and the front desk was so helpful, finding us a spacious triple room. I'd definitely book here again next time I visit. Highly recommend! 👍🏻

This hotel in Xi'an perfectly met all my expectations for my trip: a 1.8m king-sized bed plus a pull-out sofa bed, a fridge, and a microwave. It was great for bringing back leftovers for a late-night snack. It's convenient to get to the North Station, Muslim Quarter, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda by taxi. Hopson One and SKP are just a short walk away. The subway station is about a 15-minute walk. Overall, it's very convenient for getting around. Being next to the city wall, the night view is stunning. The service was exceptional. When the staff heard we needed to use the sofa bed, they immediately came up to make it. A special thanks to Luo Li at the front desk, who gave us welcome fruit, provided small toys knowing we had a child, and even upgraded our room on the last day. Many thanks! The delivery robot was tirelessly helpful in bringing food up, saving us from having to go downstairs. Oh, and it's right next to the Dongcangmen Morning Market, a five-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk. I specifically went there one morning to explore and eat, and finally got to try the much-desired Hu La Tang (spicy soup) and fried dough sticks with egg. If you want a quieter room, choose one not facing the main street, but then you won't get the city wall view. I booked the room over three weeks in advance, and the price was excellent. Booking closer to the date would have been much more expensive.

The hotel room was great, clean and comfortable. The hot water came out quickly and the water pressure was stable. There's also a gym and laundry room on the 9th floor. When we checked in, the front desk offered us a complimentary cup of sour plum soup, which was quite tasty. The hotel staff were also very friendly and answered questions quickly. It's really good value for money, highly recommended.

Love love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

You can't go wrong with this hotel! It's clean and tidy, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The location is absolutely fantastic – right next to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and a great food street. Honestly, staying here this season is just lovely. The pagoda in spring, with cherry blossoms dusting the green bricks... I captured shots of the pagoda spire framed by the flowers, white petals on my clothes, the pagoda's reflection in my eyes, and smiling tourists. Every scene is a unique spring romance. Friends who love spring travel should definitely choose this hotel – it's just across the street from the pagoda entrance.

Anlan Select Hotel boasts a prime location, just 30 meters from the subway station and next to Damaishi Food Street, and only two subway stops from the Bell Tower. The rooms are clean and well-laid out, with convenient use of all amenities and appliances. The TV is clear and the internet is fast. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are fantastic! The king-size bed is comfortable, and the pillows are excellent and supportive. The only drawbacks are that the room's soundproofing is average, and there was a slight odor from the drainpipe. However, the price is reasonable, making it a great value overall! I'll definitely stay at Anlan Select Hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an. Highly recommended!
