Hotels in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park/Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie

High price high standing. We had an amazing stay. Location: walking distance from East entrance of the park (can cross the river through a charming wooden path) + walking distance from Wulingyuan center and cute streets. Room (rating the suite with bathtub): best part of the stay. The view on the river+city+mountain is stunning, can even be enjoyed while taking a bath. Room is very spacious, ultra modern (automatic curtains, many lights, hanging chair, fancy bathroom), it has all necessary equipments and the bed is super large and comfortable Staff: extremely friendly and helped us anytime of the day (WeChat and front desk) to prepare our trip, share recommandations, arrange special needs. Service is way above average. Breakfast: the one (and only) disappointment of the stay, it looks like a canteen and clearly not up to the hotel’s standards. Nothing important as you may want to leave early to enjoy the park anyway.

This was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner. In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”. Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath. We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels. We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. This is really warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers coming to ZhangJiaJie. 这是我们中国之旅的最后一站。在曼缘的四天三夜住宿经历非常愉快。我们遇到的酒店员工都非常周到与乐于助人，领队彭谊是一位富有经验又细心的人。她指导我们预订滴滴在线出租车并推荐晚餐地点。 除了热心地向我们推荐景点并为我们购买武陵源国家公园和张家界大峡谷的折扣门票外，我们能感受到她们真诚的关心我们的出入起居生活。我的妻子说，每天回到酒店，听到親切的一声＂回来啦＂都感到自己像回到了家。 我们的女管家缘缘帮我跟进我网上购买的淘宝商品送到酒店。另外两位值得一提的员工是晓晓，她指导我们游览国家公园的景点路线。她会建议如果时间紧迫，跳过其他景点。还有陈双凤帮助我们设置草药足浴。 我们选择满园酒店是因为这里有干净、宽敞的禁烟客房，在阳台可以俯瞰溪流，小酎一杯。从酒店前往武陵源国家公园东门也很方便。早餐有很多选择。我和妻子特别喜欢并感谢酒店的咖啡机，这在其他酒店很难找到。 由于我们的搭的是午夜航班，酒店允许我们以付个小费用延迟退房，我们对此深表感谢。对我们来说这是一个非常温暖和照顾周到的住宿体验，强烈推荐未来来张家界的旅客入住曼缘渡假酒店。

This is a new boutique hotel named Utopia Hotel. The hotel has already contacted us 4 days before our check in date to confirm and ask if we need a pick-up. They provide one time free transfer from the city (pick up/drop off) and free transfers to/from the national forest. All the staff, including the owner, were very helpful in purchasing parks tickets and suggesting the routes. They always try to ensure we get everything we need. The hotel has many foreigners, so no worries for communication. The room itself is really nice. Beds are firm. Besides the master bed, there is a tatami bed. The mountain view from the room is amazing! It is a smart room (as in many other hotels in China). The air condition is operated by the Baidu AI assistant. But since it's in Chinese, you can just ask the remote from the front office. They have 2 washer-dryer units, 2 washers, 1 dryer and 1 steam iron on the 6th floor. The detergent is also provided. The location is almost at the end of Baofeng Road and at the quieter side. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to Xibu Road. We can easily find food and convenience outside the hotel. There's a massage place right beside the hotel.

A fabulous choice at zhangjiajie. Situated in the beautiful town of Wulingyuan, this is a clean and spacious hotel with the national forest gate just about 15 minutes by foot. There are tonnes of restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops around. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, well lit and spacious, breakfast has everything from fruits to noodles, eggs, tea, milk and coffee. They also provide freebies like unlimited water, cold drinks, juices, cookies, coffee and ice creams in the lobby 24x7. Special mention for our superstar Miumiu for arranging all our tickets for the excursions and providing helpful tips. She was always there to help. We appreciate the assistance and would certainly love to come back.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The receptionist helped us book entrance tickets and gave us great suggestions for the forest park and the journey in Zhangjiajie. I enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the A'yi s with an amazing view. Our room and balcony had a view towards the garden where we could rest and enjoy the traditional farming and gardening views.

We had a wonderful two-night stay. Everything was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, with good, warm water pressure.The location was ideal, just 500 meters from the east gate of the national forest park and 500 meters from the bus station to Zhangjiajie city center. Our host was incredibly helpful and considerate. She kindly assisted us in purchasing tickets for the national forest park and Glass Bridge at a discounted price. A lively food street is conveniently located across from the hotel, particularly vibrant at night. We highly recommend purchasing tea from the hotel; it's reasonably priced compared to other local shops.

The hotel’s location is great. Very close to the National part, just 5 minutes by walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is really comfortable and cozy, with modern facilities. Breakfast is not so varied, we’d like more choices for it. Also there’s a KTV nearby, and we heard loud singing from downstairs, it was a little bit annoying.

A peaceful atmosphere where you can truly connect with nature, yet still enjoy comfort. It's located a bit away from the city center, but traveling in China is now very convenient. DiDi is accessible everywhere and affordable. Highly recommended for those who enjoy slow-life accommodations and don't need perfect service. Simple and rustic, this style will leave you with unforgettable memories of relaxing after your Zhangjiajie trip.

We had a very good experience over there. The owner is very friendly. He picked us up from Wulingyuan Bus Station. (You need to take bus from Zhangjiajie Bus station which is right next the Zhangjiajie Railway Station to Wulingyuan). This homestay is located in the quiet place along with a small stream. The room is very clean with free breakfast(P6). The homestay is 5 mins driving away to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The owner also offered detailed travel plan for us, so we had a great time in the national park. We loved their home cooking local foods so much!!!!!( I attached the menu below). We stayed there for 5 days, we ate out the first day. After we tried their cooking, we didn't eat out anymore. We texted owner before we came back. When we arrived homestay all the dishes had been ready. We highly recommend this homestay.

I booked a sunrise B&B for the good view. Overall, it was OK. The owner was very nice!! He prepared a surprise for us on our anniversary🥳He also enthusiastically told us the route to visit the National Forest Park The B&B is on the mountain. It is a stand-alone privately operated small villa. It is not a large and well-established hotel. There is basically no indoor public area. The view from the swimming pool on the first floor is super good! It is refreshing The room is large and clean. However, the design of the bathroom can be improved, such as the hook for hanging clothes can be placed outside the bathroom
