"A very comfortable night’s sleep in a very quiet and beautiful location.  The hotel is beautiful and kept to a high standard.  We went to see the Kynren in Bishop Auckland so it was a perfect location to stop on the way up and stay overnight before coming home.  The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay."

The spa facilities were really good too with pool, decent hot sauna and steam room. Only let-down was dinner. I’d like to meet the chef that puts his name to the ‘signature’ burger - it just wasn’t very good at all. Breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was really quite good. Will stay again."
