The hostel is spotlessly clean, and the shared kitchen is spacious and super practical to use. I will absolutely book here again and highly recommend this place to all my friends."

"Is this supposed to be the best hotel in Longyearbyen? The room was just okay, and breakfast was pretty standard, but I guess that's acceptable considering we're in the Arctic. The good thing is that it's super convenient for getting around; the beach is only a 15-minute walk away, and the views from inside the hotel are already stunning! A huge bonus: on our second night, we saw the Northern Lights for free right next door (a 3-minute walk from the hotel)!"

I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were small, but the common areas were very spacious and comfortable. Even if you didn't go out sightseeing, just sitting on the sofa was enjoyable. The restaurant and breakfast were also very good, with comfortable decor. We happened to be there on a snowy day, so we could enjoy breakfast while watching the snow fall. Although the bathrooms were shared, there were many stalls, so there was basically no wait. They were clean and spacious. The location was okay, a bit far from the city center, about a 15-minute walk. You need to cross a river behind the guesthouse, which offers a different view. I would recommend this place more than a hotel!"
