"A great place to stay, though the uphill walk to the building can be a bit challenging. The property is clean, even with shared toilets and showers. "The service was great. It's close to the city center, about a 10-minute walk to the northernmost McDonald's 🍔, and the Arctic Gate is just 3-5 minutes on foot behind the hotel. The hotel's 12th floor has an open-air rooftop, offering a fantastic view of the cable car 🚡. If you're lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights, it's an excellent viewing spot with an unobstructed sky. The hotel breakfast was a bit monotonous (Western-style), though smoked salmon was plentiful, and there were some local specialties. I found the first-floor restaurant not to be great value for money for dinner. The 10th-floor restaurant requires a reservation in advance, and if you get a window seat, you can see the Arctic Cathedral ⛪️ across the fjord. The food there was delicious and much better value than the 1st-floor restaurant. In Tromsø, it was the best restaurant I've been to (in my personal opinion). The hotel lobby on the first floor has a very convenient taxi calling machine; you can wait in the lobby and then directly hop into the taxi when it arrives at the door."

"This type of glamping cabin is a bit remote, but the overall atmosphere and environment of the campsite are absolutely fantastic and very comfortable. The living room area inside the cabin is okay, but the bedrooms are a bit run down. We were a party of three, and the bunk beds in one of the rooms felt quite old and wobbly 🥲. Also, it was really strange that we had to make our own beds and put on the sheets! "

"This hotel is the middle of Tromso to Reina Town, and is a quite good transit rest point. The room is big enough, my family lives in a triple room, and there is an extra supermarket on the side. I rent a car from Tromso to Reina Town, and live here in the middle. In fact, it should be from the port of Tromso, take the boat to the pier next to this f2 hotel, and then rent a car, so that you can rent a car for two days less. The boat information can be found in the svipper app, but the risk is that the weather is not good and the boat will stop. The triple room price is more than 700, which is really cheap. The front entrance of the hotel and the left hand side of the door are the same numbered parking lot. You can park with easy park. I only spent 50 yuan rmb one night. This hotel is basically more than 6 hours drive from Troms or Elainesen Roble Hotel. The room was very clean and I saw a cleaning person. No other waiters. This hotel is really cost-effective."

"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It was the last hotel on a 10 trip in Norway At the previous hotels on this trip I had asked for room on high floor with nice view but never got one. However, at Radisson the man at reception took note of my request and upgraded me to a lovely room with an amazing view of Tromso. It really made the last two days of my trip special enjoying the perfect view. The room was also quiet and comfortable and cleaned promptly in the morning Breakfast was very nice, I particularly enjoyed the selection of fresh breads, yoghurt and fish Location is very central and opposite the stop for the airport bus. "The front desk is located in the bar on the top floor, which offers a magnificent view. I was too tired at night to go up and see if I could spot the Northern Lights. This is more of a business hotel. You need a key card to use the elevators. Most of the staff I encountered were very nice, and the room size is decent for a Nordic hotel. It's true that it's not too far from the airport, but dragging luggage through the snow was impossible. A single bus stop from the airport costs nearly 100 RMB, which is truly shocking Nordic pricing."

The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside. All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!"

I declare this hotel had the best breakfast of my entire Norway trip! The location is also fantastic; many day tours meet within a 5-minute walk. Plus, having a direct view of the cable car station is amazing – I could check the weather at the top of the mountain anytime! 🤭

Quite a good quality hotel. Location is excellent. Room is relatively small but still acceptable. This hotel booking includes breakfast. I rank the quality of breakfast to fantastic which it serves high quality of food with traditional Norwayigen food.

The room is spacious and clean. Great view from the room's window. I really like the room layout and it is beautifully furbished. The kitchen is great because it comes with A COMPLETE set of kitchen utensils. You will never run out of anything. This is also my first time staying in an apartment-like hotel in Europe, so I was impressed by the dishwasher. The floor is also warmed, which I like. Especially, in the bathroom, my feet didn't feel cold at all, unlike other places. I could not use the kiosk to check-in, but it worked just fine on my iPhone. I was worried about using smart key in my iPhone, as I read a lot of complaints from other reviews. However, it worked perfectly, including the entrance, elevator, and my room. I had no issue at all despite my thick phone case. During my stay, I met no staff. Luckily, there was not any issue, so everything was fine. Lastly, the location is the best. it is located in the centre, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and the price is very affordable. I think I will stay here again if I have a chance to return to Tromsø.

The location is super convenient, right in front of the cathedral. Many day tours meet up downstairs, which is fantastic! The hotel breakfast was also very satisfying. I was so happy to see the Northern Lights in Tromsø! You can consider a day tour or just walk to the pier. As long as it's a sunny day with a high Aurora Index, you'll be fine!

This is the only one hotel that is serving half board meaning breakfast and dinner is included, plus they throw in a tea break serving a piece of cake and tea/coffee during the afternoon from 3pm - 5pm. Since our arrival was after the dinner time, the hotel reception was so nice to kept us two cold plate - was delicious! As we arrived during the Easter weekend, many shops were closed. Hence it was good that we have dinner included at the hotel. Everywhere is within walking distance. Help yourself Coffee/tea are served all day long at the reception. In the late night, after we returned from aurora chasing around 2am, the doors are locked and manned by security, so it is quite safe. There is a sauna but I didnt have a chance to use it, staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the harbor overlooking the Arctic Cathedral and right next to Storgata!!! It is a bit old but remains traditional!! Perhaps some renovation in the rooms would be needed! Breakfast is a classic intercontinental breakfast buffet while the dinner is somewhat poor and basic! The fika is a nice touch!! The staff was pleasant and smiling except for the skinny young man on the day we checked in who was obviously bored and wanted to go to school and did not inform us about anything!! We had to ask him about all the procedures of the meals and the hotel while he did not provide us with any other information either about the hotel's facilities or information about the city! It is worth it just for the location and we would probably prefer it again!! And yes, we saw the northern lights one night from our window across the mountain and above the harbor!!!

We arrived in the evening, reception was not open but instructions to where our room and key are were sent in advance. Due to the weather (arrived during heavy snow) we struggled a bit to find our room, which was unpleasant, but once we found it our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside. All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!
