"Overall a very good resort, located on the main road close to all the action and night life. They provide a free tuk tuk to take you to a particular place on this road whether it is a restaurant or the Cloud nine beach. The resort has its own small beach. The villas have a fan and air con.. The bathroom has 2 showers, one inside and one outside which is nice.The shower heads though are due for decalcification to provide a good and comfortable shower. Be aware that villas that are located close to the road are quite noisy. Breakfast is buffet style and is served near the pool. If you arrive before the official check in time of 2pm and even if your villa is ready, you will have to pay an extra fee to get the key."

"We had a really lovely stay at Almont City Hotel. You can tell the building has been around for a while, and I loved that they kept the old-fashioned door — it gives the place a lot of character and charm. The suite was spacious and very clean, and the hot shower with a bathtub was such a nice touch after a long day. Everything was comfortable and well looked after. The location was perfect for us. We stayed Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the church was just a short walk away, which made things so easy. Service was friendly and good, with just a little room to be a touch more attentive — but it didn't take away from the experience at all. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay. We'd happily come back!"

"Beautiful hotel, but as a new hotel they are poorly unorganised and many amenities are still yet to be completed. Couldnt vook the meeting rooms. The internet in the rooms always dropped out amd very unreliable to do business meetimgs, I had to rum team calls down near reception. Inconvenient!. ,I stayed in 3 different rooms and woke up to no hot water for a shower more than twice. Poor comtrols in place to ensure a customer room is ready and functioning. The food is probably great for locals but not for westerners. Many advertised meals they simply dont have. Great poolside, but no outside bar, or aloud to have a drink in the pool area. I will be a regular business visitor to Butuan during 2025 and therefore looking for a decent place that has a variety of food and reliable internet. Didn't fins it here."

"I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao."

"The price is small but expected a little more) The air conditioner did not work practically, it was impossible to leave it on the night very noisy, it had to turn off. Although it didn't cool at all in the day. Through the same air conditioner, all the sounds from the street were heard. There was no blanket yet. The bathroom was quite uncomfortable, all sticky. The lock on the door was eating. But there was hot water! The location is kind of good, but the road on the entrance is quite uncomfortable, all of the stones"

"I booked in go hotel for my husband for a home office training, he like almost everything it’s just that the elevator is not functioning for a reasonable reason due to a recent calamity but overall go hotel never fails to please their customers, I think booked here for 10 times already. Mall is just a step away."

"Honestly, the stay at Almont Inland Resort was a highlight of our Butuan trip. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom suite, and having that extra space for privacy while still having a spot to hang out together made all the difference. It felt more like a comfortable home than a standard hotel room. The grounds are like a quiet, green oasis hidden away from the city noise, and the staff were genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Between the great food and the relaxing vibe, everything was spot on. I’d definitely head back there next time I’m in town."
