If you live in the building opposite the restaurant, you can go back and forth through the arch bridge, which is of great significance in rainy days. I tried the Casa do Povo restaurant in the city. The local crock-pot lamb (with pictures, easy to order) is very delicious and highly recommended. It is recommended that Marvão exit the Porta Este De Marvão city gate and go down the hill to the ancient Roman road of Portagem via the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Estrela. The trail takes about 2 hours. Most of the trails are shaded. It goes down the road, and the birds and flowers are scented. The front desk provides free trail maps to Portagem under the mountain, recommends local restaurants and provides the phone number of the taxi driver on the return journey. If you can’t get in touch, the Portagem restaurant waiters also have their own familiar taxi drivers (the return journey is about 20 Euros, acceptable), don’t worry. I tried Hotel Sever Rio e Restaurante Sever by the Portagem River. Only the tomato soup is delicious and generous, so I can recommend it."
