Checking in at Thailand's New Landmark | The Great Buddha of Wat Hua Lamphong in Bangkok

After opening, I headed straight to Thailand and discovered a new landmark in Bangkok—the Great Buddha of Wat Hua Lamphong, a staggering 66 meters tall pure gold Buddha! 📍Location: Southwest of Bangkok, about 7 kilometers from the city center. 🎫Price: Currently free to visit 🌈Tour Tips: Because the Buddha statue is huge, you can take photos of the Great Buddha from different angles even a kilometer away. Just navigate to 833 Thanon Thoet Thai, Talat Phlu, Thon Buri, Bangkok 1060, to check in and take pictures. This is also where the boat tours are located, just a little further inside. If you can't find it, the locals in the alley will kindly guide you. The boat tour costs 200 Thai Baht per person for half an hour. You can rent a boat with two or three people and try to bargain the price 🤣. Seeing the Great Buddha, you can freely check in around the one-kilometer vicinity of the Buddha. I didn't specifically look for some popular photo spots; I just took pictures wherever I went, and also got to experience the local life. After walking around the perimeter of the Great Buddha, I entered the temple of the Great Buddha. Those with a fear of huge objects should be cautious; the Great Buddha is incredibly large and overwhelming, giving a very strong sense of oppression. Inside, the Relic Stupa is also worth a visit. I recommend going directly to the 5th floor, where you can see the magnificent roof, with many locals praying. Exiting the stupa, you can also see the full view of the back of the Great Buddha. A strong sensory experience!
