Life is but a series of meals and moments, half and half again

Years later, I revisited the small park, where the crowd was still bustling. Finding a small stall to rest, I enjoyed an oyster pancake and a cup of pomelo tea. The season was just right. Next to me, travelers were debating the changes of this place. Some said the scenery remained the same, others argued that times had changed. Watching the unfamiliar faces coming from all directions, a sense of familiarity suddenly washed over me. How much youthful spirit remains unchanged, and how much time has aged. I stood there for a long time, until the gentle and sorrowful sunset pierced through the red beams and green tiles of the Zhongshan Pavilion, cutting the silhouettes of all the passersby into fragments. I brushed past the crowd and went with the flow, heading home.
