Kuilou and city walls

Gaoyou Kuilou and city walls: Gaoyou City was first built by Gao Ningzhe, the military governor of Gaoyou in the fourth year of Kaibao of the Northern Song Dynasty (971). In 1972, the city was basically demolished, only retaining a corner of 122.7 meters in the southeast and the Gaoyou North Gate City Wall Ruins Park. The corner of the Song Dynasty city wall and the Kuilou on the city wall, as well as the moat and city river water gate, are a group of well-preserved ancient buildings, and are one of the remaining symbols of Gaoyou ancient city.
