Yucheng Post Station

The Yucheng Post Station in Gaoyou is now a World Heritage Site, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, and a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is the 'living fossil' of China's post stations, the largest and best-preserved ancient post station, and a post-transmission building left over from the Ming Dynasty. The current admission fee is 5 yuan. You can enter Nanmen Street from any small road across the street, and Yucheng Post Station is in the middle of Nanmen Street. The post station is relatively large in scale, with a drum tower above the gate, which also serves as a watchtower. As soon as you enter the gate, you will see the place where goods were received and detained at that time. The two rooms behind are where the horsemen and other personnel rest. On the right is the place for watering horses, and many old objects are still preserved. The left side is now the display area of Jingdong Logistics, which is also a combination of ancient and modern. The building is well preserved, but the gate is a bit messy.
