When I was a child, I liked a program called "Japanese Style Painting" on Jade Terrace. There was an episode about the world heritage Himeji Castle. I have been remembering it now. This time, I have the opportunity to round out my childhood dreams. Himeji Castle is also known as Egret City, and JR "Himeji Castle Daisho-mae Station" is just off the train. A short 200 meters from the station to Himeji Castle is filled with the cute and lovely surroundings of Himeji Castle. Himeji Castle is the best-preserved example of ancient Japanese castle architecture, showing the developed defense system and sophisticated protective devices of the Shogun era. These buildings, while guaranteeing the defensive function, also reflect the high aesthetic value and are a model of wooden architecture.
