The lemon town rated by 'National Geographic' as a must-visit in a lifetime is incredibly charming

📍Amalfi Coast, Italy ⭐️ Listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO ⭐️ Rated by BBC as one of the 50 places to visit in a lifetime During this trip to Southern Italy, I checked in the most popular lemon town in Amalfi 🍋Positano It is like a dreamland: When you are there, it doesn't seem quite real, but once you leave, it comes to life vividly. 🚍【Public Transportation】 1️⃣ Depart from Naples Central Train Station, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Ticket price: 4.6 euros (one-way) 2️⃣ At Sorrento station, there is a convenience store where you can buy a bus ticket to Positano, SITA BUS (see picture 10). Ticket price: 2.4 euros (one-way) The journey takes about half an hour, sit on the right side for a better view. ❣️TIPS: 💛My base was in Naples, so I traveled back and forth to the surrounding cities on the same day. Buy round-trip train tickets in advance in Naples. 💛Similarly, for Positano, if you're not staying in the town, remember to buy a round-trip bus ticket directly in Sorrento. The town is small, and tickets often sell out in peak season, which can delay your return trip. 💛You can also buy a SITA BUS ticket directly to Amalfi and play in a counterclockwise direction. First, go to Amalfi (about 1 hour by bus), then return to Positano, and then back to Sorrento. 💛The route is full of mountain roads and cliff views, winding and twisting, so remember to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance. 💛Besides taking the bus to reach each town, you can also travel by boat during the peak season, which offers a better experience than the bus. 🍋【Recommended Check-in Spots】 🟡Bus stop (via cristoforo colombo 175) The most photogenic Instagram spot, the filming location for the movie 'Under the Tuscan Sun'. Standing under the hedge of blooming bougainvillea, overlooking the Mediterranean, admiring the steep terrain, the rainbow-like houses built along the hill, the sea breeze on my face, swaying a myriad of styles, unchanged for a thousand years, still charming! 🟡Spiaggia Grande (Great Beach) This is known as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Located in the recess of the bay, surrounded by colorful houses, it is very pleasing to the eye and is the most common scene on postcards and in painters' oil paintings. 🟡Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta (Church of Santa Maria Assunta) It is the town's landmark building. The church's exterior is painted in cream yellow, and together with the bright and eye-catching majolica dome, it becomes the most striking building in the town. Many locals hold their weddings here. 🍋In summer, lemon trees can be seen everywhere in the town. In winter, lemons are rare, with only a few scattered around. Most shops are closed. I didn't find the fruit stand I was looking forward to taking a photo with. However, it was nice to enjoy the effect of an undisturbed private venue.
