Nanshui Reservoir is like a grand picture scroll, with thousands of blue waves, mountains reflecting, and the lake and mountains reflecting each other. The lake is vast and boundless, surrounded by layers of green mountains, green pines and bamboo shining each other, forming a harmonious and tranquil ecological beauty. It is imagined that at the beginning of the founding of New China, the whole country worked together to invest a lot of manpower and material resources to build this reservoir. This wise decision not only solved the drought and flood disasters in the surrounding areas, ensured the water for people's livelihood, but also left valuable water resources and beautiful ecological environment for future generations. After the vast blue waves of Nanshui Reservoir, we headed west along the road and accidentally encountered a memorable ancient bridge - Shanmei Kang Bridge. This bridge is not ordinary, it is a legendary covered bridge, said to have been built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, carrying the life memories and cultural heritage of generations of villagers. Getting off the car and being there, we found its name on the plaque at the head of the bridge. The four big characters of 'Shanmei Kang Bridge' are full of deep meaning, implying people's longing and pursuit for a better life. Stepping on this carved and painted covered bridge, the wind passes through the bridge corridor, as if whispering the history of the bridge. At this moment, it is the dry season, and the river bed under the bridge is largely exposed. Although it lacks the spectacular view of the rapid water flow, the river still maintains a deep green color, reflecting the quiet scenery on both sides, which is particularly moving.
