Lanzhou | Off-peak travel to Ink Danxia

The last stop in 2023 was Lanzhou. It was the off-peak tourist season, and there were very few people wherever we went. The bare loess plateau has another kind of charm, more natural and wild. · There is not much to play in Lanzhou city, but the Ink Danxia in the suburbs is worth a visit. It is a unique scenery that is not available elsewhere⛰️ · Transportation: 🚘 It takes about 1 hour to charter a car from the city · Ticket: 🎫60 (including shuttle bus in the scenic area) · Opening hours: 09:00-17:30 · ⚠️Travel tips: 1️⃣The main mode of transportation in the scenic area is by bus/electric car, with 4️⃣ stops in total. Just follow the crowd to tour and take the bus. There are walking tour routes at each stop, where you can take pictures and check in. The route arrangement is quite reasonable. · 2️⃣The afternoon light changes strongly, with density, you can see different colors of the mountains, suitable for viewing and shooting with the naked eye. But if you want to take portraits, the morning light is more suitable. · 3️⃣Almost all shops in the scenic area are closed during the off-peak season, with only one or two convenience stores open.
