Ling Tong Scenic Area in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City

Address: Ling Tong Mountain, Daxi Town, Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province Ling Tong Mountain, also known as Dafeng Mountain, Dafan Mountain, and Dapeng Mountain, is located in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, China. As of 2013, it covers an area of nearly 37 square kilometers, 110 kilometers away from Zhangzhou City, and 148 kilometers away from Shantou City. It was named Ling Tong Mountain after Ming Dynasty's Huang Daozhou inscribed the words 'Ling Ying Gan Tong' on Dafeng Rock, and is known as 'the first mountain in southern Fujian'. It is one of the main attractions of the ecological tourism town of Daxi Town, which is rich in Minnan and Hakka culture from Fujian and Taiwan, and is a tourist destination that combines sightseeing, religious pilgrimage, mountain climbing, and summer health resort. It is part of the national geological park and a national scenic area.
