Brilliant hotel for business trips, with clean rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds and great showers. The staff are super polite and welcoming. The hotel carpark is small with space for around 20 cars but there is use of the municiple car park next to it. It is within a 10-12 minute walk to supermarkets, restuarants and takeaways. Overall a great stay.

The apartment was nice & comfortable. Location was good & convenient. There were supermarkets, cafes & home centre nearby. Witihin 15 mins walking can reach the town centre, cathedral and many sight seeing spots & restaurants. Staff was helpful and replied very fast.

We (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

We had a truly wonderful stay & would like to sincere thanks to the hotel manager - his name is Charlie & the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. The manager’s professionalism, kindness & attention to detail were exceptional. It was clear that they genuinely care about every guest’s experience, that level of dedication was reflected throughout the hotel. The staff were welcoming, attentive & always ready to help with a smile but just a single receptionist made me unhappy anyway we really enjoyed & extended our stay for few more days. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations in every way. Many thanks for creating such a memorable stay. I truly appreciate all the hard work & hospitality, I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended! For an overnight stop the hotel suited us just fine and the price suited our budget just fine. Taking the above 'measures' one at a time: Location: this really depends on the purpose of a travellers trip. For us it was ideal, just ia mere 10km south of where we need to be by 09.00 the next morning. Having said that, a description that it is located in a Motorway service area, at the most remote position would have helped. Our arrival was considerably hampered by direction from the A1M, some construction works, poor lighting and road markings around the parking area. It is worth noting that a car parking fee applies. Cleanliness: No complaints on this score. The bathroom arrangements are showing their age, but everything worked just fine. Servie: Check-in was straightforward with a very pleasant receptionist doing his best to make our arrival flawless. Facilities: The lack of hotel parking caught ne off-guard. You need to park in the public parking area of the Service Area. See also my comment on the bathrooms above.

Everything was lovely but the staff were not very friendly and we were not informed about the £200 pound deposit we needed to put down or that we would be locked out of our room at 11am Would definitely stay again, but it would have been nice to have a tiny bit more info and customer service

Good hotel, nice location, room size is a bit small for a family, but all in all it’s a good adorable place to stay in near Stansted airport. I would book again if I need a hotel in this area

It’s in a SA near Stansted . All the staff working there are very friendly and helpful. The room is sparkling clean and check in and out were very quick and easy.

I really loved the garden at this hotel. It was beautiful, peaceful, and felt very natural and relaxing. The room was okay, although there was a slight musty smell, and there was no refrigerator in the room. The hotel is very close to the Harry Potter Studio, and it is within walking distance from the hotel, which was very convenient. The reception staff and restaurant staff were lovely and friendly. However, the late-night bar staff did not seem very welcoming, even though the bar still had another 30 minutes before closing. They also did not inform us from the beginning that cocktails and coffee were no longer available to order, which would have saved me time looking through those sections of the menu. In the end, I decided not to order anything. Overall, I liked the hotel much more than I disliked it, and I had a pleasant stay.

This hotel is very conveniently located for access to and from the M1 (which is why I chose it). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for location is because if you fancy taking a stroll into the nearby village, perhaps for a pub meal and a drink, then the footpath is non- existent in places and you need to be careful in the dark. But that's not the hotel's fault and as the hotel is clearly set up for travelling business customers, I suppose most people would just drive a couple of minutes to the local pubs (which were more lively than the hotel bar). Aside from that, everything else was fine. The staff were all helpful and polite and the breakfast was delicious and filling. And the room was fine too. Overall, this hotel worked well for me on this occasion and I am happy to recommend it
