Great reception staff. Polite. Professional. Friendly. Helpful.
Wow what a twin room it was. Almost like a suite. Separate area with kettle n coffee/tea facilities.
Very comfortable beds. Cosy duvet. Large bedroom with 2 good sized beds. 2 easy chairs. Tv. Plenty storage space. Drawers. Wardrobe. Ironing board. Iron. Hairdryer. Very quiet floor. No doors banging. Great selection at breakfast. Lots cereals. Fruit. Yoghurt. Fruit juices. Continental selection as well as English fried selection. Bread to toast or fresh bread. Would most definitely stay again.
Very clean and basic amenities. For one night, you won't need much else. Next to service station and also hotel reception has toiletries and refreshments to purchase. Sink is outside bathroom. Tea coffee and hairdryer provided. Good space for storage and clothes. Good wardrobe. However room can become stuffy at night.
We arrived late at the hotel but there was still plenty of parking. It is in a nice secluded area so you’ve no noise from surrounding area. We were checked in with warm welcome. The room was nice, curtains could’ve been upgraded as they had holes in and some had fallen off the rings on the rail. Our last day we decided to have breakfast which was a nice little spread and good choice of hot breakfast items, yogurt and pastries too which were all very nice! Would recommend the stay again to anyone wanting to visit!
Booked this hotel as it’s close to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden UK (and a little bit of one of the Harry Potter films was filmed at the fountain in the gardens).
It’s good reasonably priced accomdation if visiting the Studio Tour. The staff were helpful and the rooms we clean and well kept but a little on the small side
Our only negative was the A/C cooling in the room as not sufficient even on a cool May Day the room was very warm to the point of being uncomfortable
But overall a good stay with quiet and nice rooms. Would just be wary staying in the hot summer months
The staff could not be more welcoming. I arrived the night before a work event and despite the bar being busy due to a football match, they helped get me settled into a clean a lovely room, with just enough facilities. The breakfast included in the price the following morning was exceptional and set me up for a great day! I will definitely be back and was even looking for things to do in the area as I'd love to take my wife to this lovely venue.
It is dated and the A1 is noisy but that’s what you’d expect choosing a hotel next to it. Our trip was fine. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was basic and plenty of it.
I will definitely stay again. The staff and owners were so friendly and polite. I am afraid there is no cooked breakfast there but the fruit salad is epic 😋. Muffins and croissants are lovely too.
We went to Warner Bros Harry potter studios. It is a short walk to the station and we had 1 stop to Watford junction. And boom! they have a complementary bus to the studios. Easy
Now the hotel don't do dining so it is best to eat out then go back.
Very nicely decorated Room and very comfortable bed. I feel, gor me it was great value for money. And I like to support the small businesses. That way I think you get more of a personal service.
I would recommend but you have to be organised for refreshments and snacks.
Arrived later than expected due put the lady on reception was not at all personable, look at us as though we stupid and then after giving us our room number and key, said 'it's on the second floor' with no other details or assistance - not even a point in the right direction.
After getting in to our room, it had everything we needed however the pipes made a noise for the entire night and was not easy to sleep.
Would not recommend this hotel for service. Location however we couldn't fault.
Had a lovely stay from the moment I checked in, 2 of the reception staff were friendly and welcoming and found me a room with the view that I wanted. Room was cosey , clean and spacious. Also checked out on Monday and went to the bar, the man in the bar ever soo polite and friendly. Only thing that let my experience down was the cleaning staff on Sunday afternoon around 1pm on the 5th floor, when channeling the beds there was alot of noise as the beds were being banged against the walls and doors being slammed. Just a little consideration that not everyone checks out on a Sunday and that there are other guests still trying to rest or relax. But overall check in staff amazing and reception delightful 😊

SShun FuRoom was small but clean. Parking fee of £2 was ok when compared with other hotels I. The area which charge between £8-12 per night. Will book again next time as price with reasonable when compared with other hotel and especially the high parking fee.
GGuest UserVery lovely apartment, clean and cosy. Accessing the flat on the first day was like a treasure hunt 😄. Nice location too. Heating can be improved.

GGuest UserWe (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

GGuest UserBe aware that if you book through Trio.com parking is not free, if you book direct with the hotel then it is free which was not made clear at time of booking.. Booking direct was the same price so if i had known i would have booked direct and save myself £5 parking charge for the night.. The two men on reception were also unhelpful and rude and laughed when i explained the situation to them, Location is good but would not go back, hotel is very dated!!
AAnonymous UserEverything was lovely but the staff were not very friendly and we were not informed about the £200 pound deposit we needed to put down or that we would be locked out of our room at 11am
Would definitely stay again, but it would have been nice to have a tiny bit more info and customer service
PPedro Jose Suescun MorilloExcellent service from Alma at the reception upon arrival. It's a great area to stay if you have an early flight, as it's only 8 minutes from the airport – highly recommend! There are also plenty of food options nearby. Overall, my experience has been excellent; thank you.
