Although it's far from the city center, it was conveniently located near a supermarket and bus stop. There was coffee and tea available in the common area, and cooking utensils were also provided, which was great. Personally, I liked that they offered free towel rentals. I'd love to stay here again when I visit Stockholm!! They also store luggage before and after check-in, but it's just left in the hallway like this, where lots of people pass by, and it's not visible from the reception, so I was a little scared that anyone could steal it (lol).

The hotel is in a very good location, convenient for traveling, and close to the train station. The staff provided excellent service, and the room was very clean. The room amenities were complete, the bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. There are also restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel, which made the stay even more convenient. Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance

After several business trips, this is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in. The room isn't huge, but it's very well-equipped, even with in-room speakers. The common areas have hot water, vending machines, and an iron and ironing board, making it perfect for business travelers. The breakfast in the lobby is quite extensive, and they even offer free freshly ground coffee, which is a thoughtful touch. On the second floor, there's a very large common area where you can relax, read, or work. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Stockholm. The staff are also incredibly friendly, and the entire hotel has a charming, nostalgic, retro music vibe.

It was so nice, like the window and all. I was there for the concert and I got there without waiting for hours and all. Very clean, big room and they have lactose free and gluten free stuff for breakfast! Will come here again

Unbeatable location with classic Nordic comfort My stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel was defined by one thing above all: location. The hotel sits directly opposite Stockholm's Central Station—you step out of the Arlanda Express train and you're pretty much there. Gamla Stan (the Old Town) is a 15-minute walk, the main shopping street Drottninggatan is just 5 minutes away, and the metro (T-Centralen) is literally next door. The rooms are clean, pleasant, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is a highlight—with a generous buffet featuring Scandinavian, continental, and American options, there is Chinese too but it’s only porridge and tofu. The service across the hotel—from front desk to restaurant staff—is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A few things to keep in mind: the pool and sauna require an additional fee (200 SEK) - they were not available during my stay due to renovations. The hotel is older than its sister property Radisson Blu Waterfront, so don't expect ultra-modern facilities. Overall, if you prioritise convenience, comfort, and service over cutting-edge design, this hotel offers fantastic value in the heart of Stockholm. I'd happily stay here again.

The lady at the front desk was kind, and check-in was smooth. The room was spacious and clean, and the adjustable heating made it very comfortable. Although it's located by the road, it was generally quiet, and I hardly noticed any noise from passersby or cars. The bathroom facilities were also clean. It would be even better if the mold on the squeegee in the shower room could be addressed. It's convenient with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a supermarket just a minute's walk away. It was a shame that I couldn't store my luggage as the front desk closes from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. I recommend using lockers at the airport or luggage storage near the train station. I traveled to the city center by metro and had no issues sightseeing. I had a wonderful 2-night, 3-day stay. Thank you! I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed at the Radisson Blue as a one night stopover before travelling up to the North of Sweden. The hotel was a very short bus journey from the airport which made it extremely easy for me once I had got off the plane. I arrived late, but made full use of all amenities the following morning. Checkout was not until 12pm so I used the pool and sauna and relaxed all morning. I enjoyed a full continental breakfast which was all you can eat, and breakfast is served from 04.30-10.00, which is great if you are travelling early, or want a lie in. Overall I had a great experience and I will certainly be staying here again in the future.

This hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise! Though the room wasn't huge, it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was particularly well-appointed with thoughtful details: the showerhead's button design was the most sensible and convenient I've encountered in any hotel, and the heated towel rail ensured soft, dry towels. Getting here is incredibly convenient: from the airport, take bus 579 or 583 to Märsta, then transfer to Pendeltåg 40 or 41 and alight at Ulriksdal station. The hotel is just a one-minute walk to the right after exiting the station. Bus 509 stops directly across the street from the hotel. A few stops will take you to Ulriksdal Palace – I highly recommend visiting if you have time, and don't miss the excellent desserts at its cafe! Alternatively, taking bus 509 in the opposite direction for about 10-15 minutes will bring you to Solna Centrum, which boasts a large supermarket and numerous shops. A crucial tip: book well in advance! I secured a significant discount on the room rate by booking three months ahead. Also, be aware that in Swedish hotels, you typically need to proactively inform the front desk if you wish to have your room cleaned. The photo shows Ulriksdal.

I arrived late, around 11 pm, and as a female solo traveller I did feel a little anxious. You can reach the hotel either via Solna Strand metro station or Sundbyberg Pendeltåg, both about an 8 min walk away. At night the walk feels a bit longer, so just something to keep in mind. The reception was warm and welcoming. My room was great; the bed was comfy, the pillow was soft, and there were plenty of teas, coffee, a kettle, and even a hair dryer. The only downside was the bathroom design: there’s no barrier between the shower and the rest of the toilet, so water flows into the vanity area. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and, as a Muslim, I found there were enough options I could eat comfortably. On my last day I needed to check out very early, and the reception kindly packed me a breakfast, which I really appreciated. The location is in Solna, so not right in the city centre, but public transport makes it easy to get around, just plan your trips in advance. One pleasant surprise: I didn’t realise housekeeping was daily. On my first day I left the room quite messy, thinking I’d be the only one seeing it, but when I came back later that night it was tidied up. Overall, a comfortable stay and lovely service. Thank you!
