Facilities: This is a great hotel, located right next to the Marrakech train station. I highly recommend staying here if you want to avoid getting ripped off by taxis.
Ambiance: Nice, there's a large swimming pool in the middle. It seems all rooms have balconies, perfect for enjoying a local Casablanca beer.
It was during the Africa Cup, and you could watch the car parades celebrating Morocco's wins đŸ
The hotel is well located,.staff are really helpful and friendly, however the hotel is not renovated.
Some rooms have old sodas, broken door handles, and bloked sinks.
On the Main Street, lots of nice restaurants are located, the Marrakesh train station is not far.
You can go by walk from the hotel to place Jemaa el efnaa and old Madina.
Overall, we had a nice stay
It was all right, it was a pity that the rooms did not indicate the direction of prayer, and unfortunately no clothes of prayer, and for the rest, everything was perfect.
The hotelâs staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for taking a train since itâs 5 minuteâs walk from the train station. The breakfast is the best that we have had among the hotels we stayed in Morocco. Weâre happy to recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit Marrakech and takes trains.
Morocco navigation positioning has a deviation of tens of meters, so according to the navigation is to circle nearby, not only us, but also the local driver who came to pick us up the next day.
In fact, it is convenient to write, from the entrance of the city wall to the right side of the alley, see the picture.
It should be considered a homestay, call the boss in advance, otherwise there may be no one. In fact, there is no early morning, but the room is still very good to sleep. Except for us, all the young people live. After all, the price is only 300 yuan.
Note that you must change some local currency at the airport first. There are many small shops around the place, and you can also eat late.
Wonderful hotel with great service from the staff, it felt like they actually care about making your stay great. Room service is around multiple times to replenish items.
The best place in my 2 weeks in the country. Beach is right in front, decent gym and heated indoor pool, short walk to the markets. Outdoor pool isn't heated and was a bit cold to swim in Dec.
I enjoyed the breakfast, some interesting items like banana jam. Thank you all. đ
The Barcelo Palm is a five-star hotel in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco, with stunning views and luxurious facilities. The hotel's swimming pool is an excellent place to relax, offering guests the opportunity for a refreshing swim and sunbathing. The service of the hotel is also very good, the staff always keep a smile and enthusiasm, provide high-quality service to the guests, and make people feel at home.
The hotel's food is also very good, there are many restaurants and bars for guests to choose from. Whether you want to try local delicacies or enjoy international favourites, here you will find something to suit your palate. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the environment is comfortable, adding a lot of color to the dining experience.
The most striking thing is the beautiful scenery of the hotel, where there are spectacular mountains and lush forests, as well as huge gardens and ancient buildings, making people feel like they are in a fairyland. The design and decoration of the hotel is also beautiful, reflecting the culture and tradition of Morocco, which makes people fascinated by this exotic country.
Overall, Barcelo Palm is a perfect resort with food, service, facilities and views. If you want to enjoy the food, culture and nature of Morocco, then this hotel is definitely an ideal choice.
Dear Sofitel Marrakesh Team,
As a loyal guest who has been staying at Sofitel Marrakesh for the past 15 years, I want to express my continued appreciation for the high standard of service, comfort, and hospitality your hotel consistently delivers. My experiences have always been thoroughly enjoyable, which is why I continue to return year after year.
I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the pricing for non-resident guests visiting the pool. I was surprised to see the cost set at 1000 MAD for an afternoon visit. Having recently visited several top-tier 5-star hotels in Dubai â including venues such as the Aura Skypool â I found their pool access prices significantly more reasonable, despite offering similarly or even improved premium experiences and amenities.
fully appreciate the need to maintain exclusivity and quality, but I believe a more accessible pricing structure would be more suitable for guests visitors while still preserving the luxurious experience that Sofitel is known for.
Thank you for taking this into consideration, and I look forward to many more memorable stays in the future.
Warm regards,
Soufiane Maadad
Value for money very bad and misleading advertising:
The location is great, the servers are super nice and helpful BUT:
1. totally chemical orange juice low end at breakfast
2. pool without overflow and especially dirty, without filtration. We had to clean it ourselves several times.
3. very incomplete meal card: there are many things missing.
Too bad!!!
Very Good

BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I donât understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when itâs available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesnât happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldnât even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. Itâs their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.
Nice hotel, perfect location (5 minutes walking to Medina), has their comfortable zone at seaside. Good service. The hotel is not new, some shabby, bathroom needs a repair- but itâs clean and well packed (including bathrobe and slippers). Breakfast is also fine, but not for 5*. I believe that itâs a good choice hotel (not riad) for travelers who prefer good location, clean and comfortable place and not looking for brand new boutique hotel.
The Riad is absolutely lovely â charming Moroccan design, a peaceful courtyard, and a rooftop terrace perfect for breakfast or winding down. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa, yet quiet enough to relax. Our room was spotless, the air-con worked well, and everything felt clean and fresh. Breakfast was generous and tasty, served on the terrace with a relaxed vibe. Iâm giving 4 out of 5 for service only because staff didnât regularly check the rooms. Sometimes essentials like toilet paper or⊠werenât restocked unless we asked. The team was friendly, but a little more attention wouldâve made it perfect. Overall, itâs a beautiful stay and Iâd absolutely recommend it.
I have high praise to Soufiah who helped me when I arrived in the riad. His hospitality and kindness made a big difference on my stay. Breakfast is okay, they could probably use a better glass for the juice next time. 𫣠The riad itself is quiet and around 10 mins from Medina square. The riad is good for families I should say or traveler who wants peace and quiet.
This riad was literally out of a postcard! Absolutely stunning and the service, the whole vibe was just soo goood. The location is perfect to walk to many must visit restaurants, rooftop bars, El Fenn, boutique shops etc. I most definitely do miss waking up to the heavenly sounds of birds chirping! đ€đ€đ€
What a delightful little gem hidden in Marrakech. Ignore the weird streets to get there and go, since by entering you leave all the chaos of the city behind for such a nice stay experience. I wanna mention Zacarias who went beyond his way, made us breakfast early so we could get our tour, very helpful with everything and such a lovely guy. I recommend this place for sure.
