Pet Friendly Hotels in Bagmati, Nepal

This is a China owner hotel with all the Chinese convept and follow the way of China hospitality, but few things need to be improved, access card for the room should be provided 2 cards, if one person is going out and another person not going out is create a lot of trouble, check out time is not flexible, ask my mum you have 10 minutes only to check out. In China, they will allow late check out up to 2/3pm in the afternoon which is more easy for evening flight passengers.

The location of the hotel is very good, within walking distance to the square, and the breakfast is very good. There is no air conditioning in the entire hotel, please note. When I made a reservation on Ctrip, I saw that the payment method was credit card. In the end, the front desk said that I could only pay in cash, so I contacted Ctrip. Throughout the process, Ctrip customer service said that the agent would contact the hotel. No one answered the phone at the hotel front desk, so I sat at the front desk the whole time. I asked for the hotel phone number and sent it to Ctrip. Ctrip said that the agent would Shang said no one answered, and the front desk clerk was scrolling through Tik Tok the entire time. I negotiated with the hotel and checked in the next day before paying. During this period, I contacted Ctrip but the agent was still unable to contact the hotel. Later, I communicated with the hotel man by myself and took me to another hotel on a motorcycle, swiped my card and paid the room fee. I reported to Ctrip, and Ctrip said that I would be refunded 150 yuan. The above situation is true. I'm just stating the facts. The hotel is good, recommended to stay.

The service was excellent, and the hotel is a 4-star hotel. Opening in 2024, the rooms, facilities, and lobby were all in good condition, with a new and comfortable interior. The breakfast was also hearty. Since we were in a hurry to catch a flight, the hotel thoughtfully provided us with portable lunch boxes for easy portability. The hotel is located a fair distance from popular tourist attractions. Before checking in, it's important to confirm that the road under construction in front of the hotel is complete. Nepal's infrastructure is quite unusual; when constructing the road, they rarely leave any entrances or exits for nearby hotels and businesses. Access is extremely difficult, with only a small, muddy path. Imagine the challenges you might encounter. Walking in the rain is extremely difficult. Local taxis are small cars, which I think are like slightly elongated two-door cars in China, making this road virtually impossible to navigate. Overall, the hotel is quite good on its own.

All was good except there is no lift/ elevator but still we enjoyed the hospitable and accommodating staff. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast spread. Location was also great within Thamel.

Every thing was awesome, manager staffs. They are so humble really now we are missing them. It was a wonderful experience specially about the fragrance they are using it was just wao. And also food we ate there it was so delicious. We can’t even get in many restaurants of india. When we were having lunch i called my mom just to say the food is so good. Thanks to all team of this hotel they made our stay a memorable part of our life. Don’t worry we will come again. This is not just a review but its our wonderful experience we have there.

Thanks to the tour groups overbooking the west wing I was put into a twin suite room and discovered room service at the Dalai La. Having had weeks of Dahl and rice and noodles, it was great to binge on pizza and burgers. Internet was a bit intermittent on the 5th floor but the room is quieter than those facing the courtyard in the west wing.

I have been on business trips in Nepal for two years and finally found a hotel that suits me. Hotels here are either too expensive or too dirty and messy. People can fall out of the small beds. The single beds here are 1.35 meters long, which is great. There is also a very beautiful garden here. It is so great to talk about business and drink tea. In the past, I felt very awkward to meet clients in the hotel and talk about things in the room. Now it is much better. The garden is beautiful and quiet, and it is very comfortable to talk about things. The owner of this hotel is also very good. The hot water is very powerful and the water pressure is very high. It is very comfortable to take a hot bath. The main reason is that the hot water in the hotel I stayed in before was too uncomfortable. The wifi of this hotel is also very good. I asked the owner and he said that the internet fee is more than 2,000 RMB per month.

🏔️ Hotel Nepalaya is a perfect experience! I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in - quiet, clean, and full of Nepalese style. The location is super convenient, and you can walk to the downtown of Thamel, but the hotel is like a paradise. 🛏️ The room is super comfortable - Traditional Newar style, beautiful wooden windows - The bed is super soft, the bathroom is spacious, and there is plenty of hot water (so rare in Kathmandu!) - Every day when I wake up, I can see the sun pouring in through the curtains 🍛 The food is so delicious! - The rooftop restaurant has a great view, and the masala milk tea and fresh fruits for breakfast are amazing - Dal Bhat (bean soup rice) is authentic and cheap 💖 The service is so warm that it makes me cry - The staff's smile is super healing and they are always ready to help - Free hot packs, help contact tour guides, and give small gifts before leaving ⚠️ The only drawback: I don’t want to leave after moving in! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (must be five stars!) Suitable for: travelers who want value for money + unique experience Next time I come to Kathmandu, I will definitely stay here again! 🌸

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu and was pleasantly surprised — the room was actually better than in the photos! Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the mountains, the city, and even the Monkey Temple. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooftop pool was decent, not too crowded and with a nice ambiance. I also ordered room service once — the food was just okay, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Hyatt. The selection was quite limited for this brand's usual standard. One downside was my arrival experience. I came down from a taxi and noticed there were no bellboys or concierge staff outside to help with my luggage — maybe due to a staff shortage? Only once I approached the lobby did a staff member assist me and take my bags to the room. Thankfully, check-in itself was smooth and fast, and I appreciated being allowed to enter my room before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. All in all, the room and view were excellent — probably the best part of this Hyatt. Just a bit more attention to guest arrival and food variety would make the experience even better.

Its very clean room. Everything was ready upon check in. There is garden in the middle of the hotel with nice rooftop restaurant. Definitely coming back for my next trip.
