Solid place to stay, staff are super nice. It is a bit old, has some cracks in the walls and a few little bugs in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and clean, hot water in the bathroom, A/C wasn’t strong but does work, cold water refilling available on each floor.

Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety. What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude. This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

I stayed here this time mainly for remote work, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi was barely usable during my stay. Luckily I had my own backup connection, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me, but without one it could be difficult. I ended up working from a nearby café instead. That said, the location is excellent, which is why I keep coming back almost every month. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so it’s very convenient and easy to stay around the area. As for the hotel café, I honestly wouldn’t really recommend it. The staff were friendly, but overall the menu and pricing didn’t feel worth it for the quality. There are definitely better restaurant options nearby.

This hotel in Cebu City is very affordable and conveniently located right by Ayala Mall, at a T-junction. It's super easy to get around from here. A taxi to the airport costs about 500 pesos. The front desk is on the second floor.

Our stay at Dusit Thani was overall pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, the property was well-maintained, and the general ambiance met our expectations for a relaxing stay. However, the check-in experience was quite challenging. I was not physically present during check-in as my family arrived ahead of me. Despite sending an email and making a call to authorize them, the front desk did not allow my family to check in on my behalf. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and delay. While I understand the importance of security, the process felt overly rigid and left me uncomfortable with the lack of flexibility and trust extended to guests, especially for pre-booked and confirmed reservations with clear communication. For guests booking multiple rooms or arriving separately, I strongly recommend registering the actual guests who will be staying in each room in advance to avoid similar issues. Overall, the stay itself was enjoyable, but I hope the hotel can improve its check-in procedures to be more guest-friendly while still maintaining security.

While the standard rooms are pretty basic, the individual bungalows are fantastic. The natural surroundings are truly amazing. You get your own private beach, which is wide, white, and has incredibly fine, powdery sand. Right in front of the beach is a snorkeling area where you can spot many starfish. If you swim closer to the buoys, you'll find some coral and more fish. In a cluster of coral to the left, there's an anemone that's often home to a family of Nemo clownfish. Be careful though: on the right side, near the beach of the neighboring hotel, there are many sea urchins in the shallower areas. If you're snorkeling there, make sure to wear beach shoes. The sea faces south, so you can catch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.

Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids.

We stayed for a night at a Deluxe Double Room ,our 2nd time.. And this time we stayed on the 5th floor where internet connectivity is available. A larger room and has windows that see the road in which public utility transports pass by. Front desk officers and staff are nice and serve with a heart. Will book again whenever I will be back in Cebu City. Thank you Allsons Inn and Trip.com for a comfortable and affordable stay!

We stayed at Seda during the weekend to celebrate valentine's day. Room stay was good, and we were allowed late check out at 1pm. Gym is not big but good enough. Theres also a pool. Location is good Breakfast buffet could be better as food was quite oily. All in all, would stay in Seda again if we return here in the future.

SSteveeWhat I liked: - clean room - smart TV with internet (YouTube only) access - good aircon - pool available - polite staff What I didn't like: - location - situated in a hard to find off the main road, in little dead end side road - no hot shower - no Netflix login or even browsing option on TV - WIFI password is not given by default - no kettle for hot water - if you ask for a blanket (which is basic) there is a charge - minimal amenity kit (no toothbrush and toothpaste, 1 little soap for 4 days)

LLifeJourneyThe hotel's location is great, right next to Alona Beach and fast-food chains, and also very close to the airport. They charge a 500 Peso deposit upon check-in, which is returned at check-out. A water dispenser is available. Everything else about this stay was good, but the water pressure was too low; the water flow was so weak it was hard to take a proper shower.

MMargaretPerry11/10. Been booking with Diane for quite some time, my partner and I. This has been our favorite hotel in Cebu, and we are gatekeeping it lol But in our recent stay, I feel like we were not supposed to have the correct room that we're supposed to get, but not really sure about it. I booked a Superior Room with a City view so we can watch some fireworks during Christmas Eve, but when we came into the room, the window was a small one, and when we tried to open the window, we could only see equipment outside blocking the window and the view; the window was forced to just open maybe just 5 inches and that's it. I don't know what City View I was supposed to see. Overall, that's just my only concern. The girl from the reception wearing white did not seem happy (those that are in green uniforms are fine, I love them and those in the dining area even in the rooftop - but the girl in the reception that day idk whats with her) when giving us the room key, she was smiling a little bit, but I could feel she wanted us to just go and disappear in front of her. Overall, we just brush it off and moved on with our day and enjoyed the view from that little window and the from the rooftop. We still love Diane's and will still keep recommending this to our friends and family ofcourse. 11/10.

CCayucosAn otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel it’s worth knowing the following: 1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is “private” or not is at the discretion of the third party 2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you. This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to family or friends.

GGuest UserStayed at the hotel for three nights, the hotel is very new, although small but the facilities are very good, facing the beach and the sea (although it is black sand beach). Breakfast is delicious, if you don't have time to eat, you can ask the hotel to prepare a sandwich. I have eaten a few meals at the hotel, but it is more expensive than the outside, but it is recommended. The hotel also has a horse to kill the chicken, but there is no special room. It is made on the beach chair by the pool. The price is more expensive than the outside, but the experience is Not bad. The only bad thing is that the hotel location is cheaper. Come in and take a bad road. We were also found on Google Maps. It would be a bit painful to take the baggage. The hotel is 20 kilometers away from the city, it is more troublesome to go out, you can sit on the yellow bus is very cheap. It is recommended that people who like a quiet holiday come, otherwise it is better to live in the city. The chickens in the house next to the hotel like to call in the middle of the night. If the room is close, it will be a bit noisy.

KKuailededadadadabaibaicaiA great place to watch the sunset. The room was quite large but the facilities were sparse, not even a sofa. The waiters were friendly, except for one strong, female employee who had a bad attitude. Getting around wasn't particularly convenient; there were no cars at the door, and it was difficult to get a taxi online. Walking to Belfort would be better. The hotel restaurant was a good option for dining, and the food was delicious. There are many restaurants in the Modara Commercial Plaza in front, and there's also a Filipino restaurant next to Belfort. The environment is beautiful, and the beach is nice. Overall, except for that waiter, everything else matched the price.

Mmariel finthe place was so nice and people were accommodating my family very well. i am currently staying in japan and i booked this hotel for my family for there new year vacation and when they got there the confirmation booking was smooth and my mom told me that even the staff there often ask if they're comfortable with the room and if they lack something like knife or basic utensils because they can lend them there's. When my mom ask for a possible motorcycle rent one of the staff did not hesitate to provide solutions and shared amazing spots that must be visit within the area free of charge and provided tips on how to get there. the wifi was never a problem. the room was clean and the towels smell amazing. Overall i would recommend this place specially with its budget friendly prize and the people there are nice. :) leave a like if this helps :D

JJulianDA lovely relaxed stay. Acacia is in a great location, away from Alona beach but only 10 mins on a bike. The public area has a small pool, and a place to cook, with a fridge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. I would recommend Acacia highly.

ЛЛюдмила@We stayed for three days, I don't even know how to describe it correctly, the location is very beautiful, cozy! But the room, of course 🤔, no kettle, no glasses, dirty, one large towel, sockets did not work, no Wi-Fi in the room, in general, we finished our stay, although we initially thought to extend it, we definitely don't want to go back there(((

CcnphoebeFor real, one of my all time favourite stays. The stay here were so friendly, the food fantastic, the rooms and views equally exceptional. This is a really special place away from the business of Bohol with wonderful produce and a very pleasant spa to boot. We were even very kindly upgraded to a phenomenal room by the friendly check in staff. Highly, highly recommend, we will be back!
