Highly recommend overall! Make sure to book a river view room; the window view is like a painting.
1. Location: Right next to the Old Town, a 10-minute walk to the castle. You barely need to use public transport, your legs will do all the work.
2. Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable, even has a coffee machine. The only downside is no complimentary bottled water.
3. Late check-out was not possible at all, but they offer free luggage storage.
Amazing looking hotel incredible location. Only hesitation was the arrival Experience where Porters watched on as we struggled with our luggage but watched multiple porters run to one couple who arrived within moments of our arrival.

The curtains are like sliding doors, so they block out light perfectly, and the soundproofing is excellent; it's quiet both day and night. There were unwashed coffee stains in the cups. Free parking is provided, and driving to the city center is quite convenient, although there can be some traffic.

Great location, close to some very good restaurants and a block away from Old Montreal, and close to Metro stations.
The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. It does have a laundry facility, which is nice, but the breakfasts are really substandard, considering the cost. Selecting breakfasts increases the room cost significantly, or you could pay $27 per person for the breakfast. It was standard hotel breakfast buffet - you could get twice the quality for half the price elsewhere. And parking is $28 per day, or portion of a day.
In town for a JFL show. Location was very convenient and the rom was immaculate. Resto on ground floor is very nice for a convenient meal of quick snack after travel and check-in. Staff are very pleasant and professional and were quick to accomodate our request for a room with a bathtub. My wife likes to soak after the travel part.. had a pleasant special effects surprise at bedtime when the streetlights below penetrated above the curtain/drape rod and produced a bit of a light show on the ceiling. Not enough to interfere with sleep and just right as a night light for the mid night trips to the washroom. All in all very nice hotel in a very convenient downtown location at a reasonable price
What a lovely place to stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional and of the standard that you would expect.
The breakfast concierge was very helpful and the food was of a really great standard, beyond what we expected.
The ease of being able to leave all of our luggage at the hotel before our flight made such a difference to our day.
Will definitely will be back when we return next year. Thank you to all the staff.
The hotel's location is good, within walking distance to Old Quebec and the Plains of Abraham. The facilities are indeed old. I had read a review mentioning the AC being too loud at night but didn't pay much attention to it then. After checking in, I realized it wasn't just the AC; there was a constant low-frequency humming noise that seriously affected my sleep. This was especially problematic since it was my first night in Canada after landing, and the noise disruption was severe.
Very good service with an excellent continental breakfast! We even brought ice packs and they kept them in the freezer for us overnight to take back the next day! It was very much appreciated!
We enjoyed everything about our stay, king room with incredible view and royal toilet, the aroma restaurant a real delight, clean casino and beautiful atmosphere

GGuest UserThe toilet was clogged. Our key cards kept malfunctioning, and we had to get them reset several times to access our room. The facilities felt a bit worn. On a positive note, we were able to keep the same room. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the included breakfast was comprehensive, and the air conditioning worked very well.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The check-in and check out process was smooth. Unlike other hotels Home2 suites offered check out at 12 noon, the staff were welcoming, The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh options.
GGuest UserMy stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right in downtown and close to all the fun spots, many just a short walk away. The lobby greets you with a refreshing scent and genuinely warm smiles from the staff—they make you feel right at home from the start.
I had the juiciest steak ever, and the 24-hour heated pool? Total relaxation! The only thing I’d change is the pool’s location. You currently have to walk through the restaurant and lobby (which are open to non-guests), so it feels a bit awkward strolling by in your swimsuit. A private walkway or different pool spot would make it perfect!
Overall, I had an incredible time and would definitely come back. 🤗

MMatt88My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests.
Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name.
Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings.
I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.
Llinlinlin_00The room is a little small, but the view is good. It is a bit inconvenient to change two elevators to go up and down the stairs. The front desk service is very thoughtful and polite, and there is a special car at the door. The location of the hotel is very convenient and quiet at night.
GGuest UserArrived after midnight and planned to leave after breakfast. The gentleman at check in (Laird) advised that the kitchen probably wouldn't be open at 6am on Sunday. We planned to eat and run to catch a flight. He kindly offered to pack us a to-go breakfast. When we went to checkout at 6 after ordering the Uber, he advised that the kitchen will in fact be serving breakfast at 6. I told him the Uber was waiting, so could we just grab the to-go bags we'd ordered the night before? He advised that he didn't organise them, because the kitchen was open, so we could receive the hot breakfast included with the booking. So, ultimately, we left without eating anything. Could have been managed better. Also quite far from the airport. A comfortable stay, though.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very clean and with great amenities. Breakfast buffet is very nice with lots of variety. Location is excellent with walking distance and close to metro, old port Montreal, Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. My family really enjoyed the stay at this Hampton Inn by Hilton.
__WeChat281715****Booked two rooms and overall, I was quite satisfied! The hotel facilities are new and clean, and the rooms are spacious. The front desk service was very enthusiastic. The free self-parking and charging are great for those driving, and it's also convenient to walk to the supermarket. The only minor downsides are that toiletries and slippers aren't provided, it's about a 15-minute drive from the city center, and the breakfast options aren't extensive. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for families on a road trip or business travelers. Recommended!
