"The location is excellent, about a 200-meter walk from Afanti Square. I stayed in a first-floor room. Although the window was blocked by a wall, it didn't affect my stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the freshly ground coffee was a highlight. The garden-style setting in the lobby was very attractive."
GGuest UserWasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin beds in the room, so that’s the correct room. They in the end asked us to request for room change the next day if we don’t ‘like’ it.
We waited the manager until late morning next day and explained the issue which was more than a room change request. The manager admitted there are only a few rooms that actually look like the picture on their website. They finally gave us the room that we actually booked after a long argument, and compensated us on the first night issue.
Beware of what you booked. They mixed a lot of different rooms into one room category and charge the same price point.
The room amenities were basic also.
JJulianCLYou can tell the hotel is a bit old, but for the price, it's acceptable. It's located outside the ancient city, but not far by car. My favorite part was the outdoor pool, though it was crowded with kids. The gym was also spacious, but unfortunately, some of the equipment was a bit dated. The service and rooms were decent. There are plenty of food options and shops nearby. It seemed like there were a lot of guests overall. As for breakfast, it was nothing special.
AAnonymous UserThe overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.
GGuest UserOverall, it was decent. The hotel is quite new, but the main drawback is that the room is a bit small. I've stayed further from the city center before and gotten larger rooms. Here, besides the bed, there's not much space left. There's an ATM on the ground floor, and the breakfast is excellent, a mix of Western and Uzbek styles, with strawberries which was a nice touch. It's easy to get a taxi, and it's not far from the old city, about 10 kilometers. Across from the hotel, there's a place that sells baked samsa, and about a kilometer away there are restaurants where you can order takeout.
MMaajyWas such a beautiful place to stay stay if you want to stay near the old city and I loved it. The staff are very helpful and kind and one of the staff let me check in two hours since I arrived a bit earlier. That’s the hotel has really nice ambience to eat and all of the amenities and facilities that come with it are exceptional as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would love to stay here, and I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay close to the old city to choose this place
EElGrVery cozy family hotel. Comfortable rooms with everything you need (hair dryer, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers). Very good breakfasts.
The only thing we would recommend the hotel to consider is the curtains = they let in a lot of sun and from the very early sunrise it does not allow you to sleep.
Otherwise, the hotel is simply excellent with very friendly service!!
EElenaM111The hotel is not in the old city, but by taxi to get close enough. It was a little noisy from the cars on the street (view to the city). Breakfast was normal, varied, there was strawberries, cherry, apricots in the middle of May. But the eggs and casca were finished. We had a hard time to set up the TV, asked for help to staff. The air conditioner worked .good.bassnine good, new.

EEkaterina YablokovaA very beautiful hotel with excellent service, in a walk-in from the old city. We have a family room consisting of two standards connected to the inter-room door, very convenient for 4 people! The room has all the necessary, good repair and comfortable furniture. On the respiratory has helped with all the issues - booking a table in the restaurant, carrying out exchange of currency and so on. The only thing that was a little bit upset - quite modest compared to Hiva and Samarkand breakfast, hot dishes were few, baking in factory packaging, but not bad coffee.
