Cao'an Temple, located at the south foot of Huabiao Mountain in Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, is about 20 kilometers away from Quanzhou City. It is not a famous tourist attraction in Quanzhou. However, it is the only relic of Mani Guangfo and Manichaeism (Ming religion written by Mr. Jinyong) temples in our country, and the only relic of Manichaeism temples in the world. Cao'an began in Shaoxing, Song Dynasty, and was originally named after Cao'an. From Emperor Shunde of Yuan Dynasty to the fifth year of Yuan Dynasty (1339 AD), it was changed into a single eaves stone structure Xieshan style building. The Cao'an is built on a cliff. It has four rafters, three open rooms with a width of 1 183; 67 meters and two deep rooms of 3.04 meters. Under the eaves, the roof is supported by a single row of arch beams, which is simple and simple. A circular shallow niche with a diameter of 1.68 meters and a Manichaeism Buddha carved in the niche is the only statue of Manichaeism in the world. The statue falls on the lotus flower bed and sits 1.52 meters in length, 0.83 meters in width, 0.32 meters in length and 0.25 meters in width. It is amazing that the face of the Buddha is pale blue with pink hands and gray-white clothes, making use of the differences in the rocks. Natural tricolor is delicately constructed. The monastery is free of tickets. The scenic spot is very good. It takes about 2 hours to play. The only inconvenience is that Jinjiang and Quanzhou do not have direct bus to the monastery. Generally, self-driving tours are the majority.
