High up over Salzburg you get an amazing view over the city and the snowcapped mountains on the other side. The panoramic tower you get an amazing 360 view. Unfortunately I was walking around inside when the weather was clear, and when I finished the fortress inside, which was very interesting btw, it started to snow heavily and we couldn't see very far on the tower. Also the ticket only allows you to go into each attraction once so make sure you go up the tower when the weather is good.

Salzburg, Austria, is the birthplace of the music god Mozart, and the commanding height of the city is the castle fortress. The entire castle fortress is quite large, including a museum, with a viewing platform, a wide view, overlooking the city!

Austria 🇦🇹 Salzburg 📌 Castle Fortress 🏰 Drunk Beautiful sunset scenery Austria must punch in the sunset scenery of the mountaintop castle...Listen to the bells of Salzburg circle the square...
Salzburg Fortress introduction: Hornsalzburg Fortress (German: Festung Hohensalzburg) is located on the monk mountain of Salzburg more than 100 meters above sea level in the old city of Salzburg. It is the residence of the bishops of Salzburg in successive generations. It is also one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. It is considered a symbol of Salzburg. The main courtyard of the castle has a sink built in 1539, and an old orange tree standing by the sink has been around for nearly 350 years; the gold interior of the ceremonial hall is luxurious, and you can see gilded wood carvings and gorgeous Italian pottery fireplaces. The museum displays medieval art treasures, which are breathtaking to visitors; in addition, you can see the torture chamber, the prison and the human-controlled mechanical organ known as the "Salzburg rudder" (1502), for which Mozart's father wrote a hymn. The castle's freight cable car, built in 1515, is probably the world's oldest cable car; today the castle's traffic is modern, all connected by air cable car, the cable car takes ten minutes to climb the castle, the castle can be taken to climb the mountain trails.
