On the way back to Auckland from Kerikeri, I stopped by at the Honey Centre in Warkworth to pick up a jar of honey. I also sat down to enjoy a delicious and refreshing honey milkshake. I'm sorry to see several other recent contributors had a less thrilling experience. I don't know what they were looking for, but I've always seen the place as a honey shop first and café second, so no, I'm certainly not disappointed.

A place to sell honey products, very large, in addition to many ready-made processed honey products, you can see how honey is brewed, there are some bees nearby, the products are very delicate, you can visit their website.

Highly recommend going to this and checking it out! Great honey tasting and products. Really nice cafe. Friendly staff.

    2/5Bad

low quality food and bad coffee. probably the worst blt & chips i ever had. the whole place looks a but sad and tun down. the food displayed in the cabinet does not look very appealing. i agree with previous comments, stopping in was a total waste of time. on a brighter note, the kids working there where very friendly. the shop next door seemed quite goid and my little son liked the bee wall.

    1/5Terrible

I went into the honey cafe at 1:15 on a Saturday afternoon, I waited at the counter for about 3 or 4 minutes and got no eye contact or comments from any of the 4 people behind the counter, hot meals were closed and there was no information on the cold food in the cabinet so I just walked out - rubbish customer service
