Amazing museum. Beautiful inside and out. The Romanesque collection was the most impressive of all. Budget at least half a day even if you just want to stroll through all the exhibits. Admission is for 2 days with in-and-out privilege so keep your ticket safe. Audio guide costs extra but is very helpful if you really want to learn about the artwork. Coat check is free. There are two restaurants inside - a casual cafeteria and a fancier one serving exquisite (but expensive) buffet. Photos are allowed (no flash) so feel free to bring your camera. The ground outside the museum is stunning. It is one of the best place to get a good view of the city skyline. Not to be missed even if you are not a museum goer. Consider getting Articket if you plan to check out other museums such as Museu Picasso, Fundació Joan Miró or MACBA. It is a good deal (30 euro for all 6 museum visits) and you also get to skip the line for tickets.

It is very large and quiet. Although I don't know art, it is good to see it. There are many different styles of flowers and design objects. You can see the city of Barcelona at the door. At night, I also met people who performed, looked at the city scenery, listened to the songs, very comfortable.

Tickets bought on Trip.com are very convenient, and you can enter by brushing the QR code. There is a rich collection in the museum, mainly works by Catalan artists, including painting sculptures and handmade, especially the murals of more than a dozen centuries ago.

National art museum of Catalonia is located at the plaza of Espanha square. The Palau was originally the Spanish Pavilion at the World Fair of 1929. After extensive renovation work it was reopened in 1997. Overall, the museum exhibits more than 260,000 works of art and is therefore the largest and most important museum in Barcelona .A alan Museum Act, the museum MNAC was founded in 1990 by the merger of the Museu d'Art de Catalunyand. The world's largest collection of Roman frescoes fills most of the rooms of the MNAC. The Romanesque frescoes date from the vestibule of 29 major Romanesque churches in the Pyrenees. So they could be saved before being destroyed by the Spanish Civil War. The frescoes are in so-called "ambits'. These are small demarcated areas. In each ambit you can get information about the church, from which the frescoes are. In addition, the MNAC shows countless sacred objects. The MNAC has the most important collection of Catalan art from the 19th Century and the first decades of the 20th Century. Several phases of art history changed in this time: neoclassicism, realism, modernism (Catalan Art Nouveau).
