Shoushan Pavilion Dabogong Temple ~ Picture 4 was taken on the night we arrived in Kujin on the first day. It was brightly lit at 10 o'clock in the evening and smoky! Later, I looked at it and found that it was the first day, no wonder! Picture 2 is the afternoon passing by and heard firecrackers firing. I didn't go in. I looked at it opposite. There were actually lion dances. I don't know what kind of ceremony this is... It is said that this is the most prosperous Chinese temple in Kujin. The Dabogong Temple of Shoushan Pavilion is next to the hillside of Kujin, facing the river. The building around it was bombed by the Japanese army in 1941, but it remained standing. The temple was built in 1843, but official records only admit it was built in 1876. In 1876, the temple was renovated in a major way. Shoushan Pavilion Dabogong Temple is backed by the flower pot mountain, facing the Sarawak River, backed by the mountains and water, the temple is dedicated to the uncle, like sitting on a comfortable chair, looking at the rivers and rivers in the distance. "Uncle Gong" is the name of the Hakka family to the land. There are not many people in the Big Uncle Temple on weekdays, but once the Lunar July Lanpen Festival, there will be celebrations, very lively.

This Tua Pek Kong temple is oldest Chinese temple in Kuching city. The location just beside or opposite the waterfront Kuching area. Just cross the road then will reach this temple. The special of this photo is show the traditional dragon wall beside the road. Is a very hard to find this type of wall in Malaysia and this wall show the older Chinese style in Kuching city.

    这庙有两百多年历史了,就在河滨公园对面,可以去参观,如果是信徒不妨去上香祈久平安

The entire temple is surrounded by a hillside in Kuching, facing the river. When Japan invaded in 1941, the buildings around it were bombed by the Japanese army, but they remained standing.
