The whole village of Xiwan Village is actually a large courtyard connected, interlocked, and integrated by the small courtyard courtyard. The people of each branch live in these five lanes, which are easy to manage and easy to expand the village to the left and right. The houses in each vertical lane can be connected to each other. The ground of the alley is paved with stones, with stone walls on both sides, and some places have turrets and wall roads for inspection. The ancient houses are all cave-style Mingzhu Xiamen Gaoyutai, which is fronted by Mingzhu Xiamen Gaoyutai Courtyard, and the south is the living room, or the horse shed, toilet, and gate. Because it is built along the hillside, it is the roof of the first floor of the house below, the yard of the upper floor of the house, and the whole ancient village is cascading.

Looking at the ancient village of Xiwan built hundreds of years ago, I lamented that its design concept is so novel and unique. The huge castle is only 3 gates in the south, meaning heaven, earth, people and easy to defend outside; If there are large villages, each hospital has a small door to connect, and you can walk through the whole village when you enter a first hospital, which is convenient for internal integration. Xiwan Village is the only ancient village in Shanxi selected as a famous historical and cultural village in China.
