Romantic Hotels in Mimaropa, Philippines

What an incredible stay! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about Zuri. Starting from the staff - everybody was super nice, helpful and smiley. They even had a thermometer for us to buy when we needed one! The transport was waiting for us at the airport (paid 300php/person one way). The room and bathroom was really spacious and spotless. There’s plenty of space for the clothes and stuff in the bathroom. The room also has a fridge, kettle with coffee/tea choices as well as bathroom alimentaries. The resort area is amazing. The resort is places by the hill a bit away from the town, facing the sea and Coron island. It has 3 pools + 1 kiddie pool, a pool bar, cafe, restaurant, shop, ATM and more. It’s surrounded by greens. You can truly rest there. The breakfasts there were exceptional! Lots of choice, different food both western and Asian. There was also barbecue in the evenings, very tasty as well. We loved it! The only minor downsides: - you can’t really control the AC, there’s no remote, you can have it set to fan or cool and set the power 1-10 - there is no reception in the room - there are not many power outlets in the room

The service and amenities are superb. The personels were very polite and accommodating. They gave us a very quiet room which is located on the 6th floor right on the roof deck. The food is good, breakfast is served in buffet which we really enjoy. It was such a memorable stay and we will definitely come back here.

Wonderful hotel!!! The service, cleanliness, food, and activities were all top-notch! The hotel offers lovely complimentary touches like free lemon tea in the fridge, a bag, a scarf, and local coffee. In the evenings, they bring pastries to your room. The coconut balls are absolutely amazing! During the day, there are free snacks and refreshing drinks. There's also a happy hour – buy one cocktail, get one free. We experienced the dinner buffet, which was excellent! You can even try their famous suckling pig. Breakfast offers something for every taste! There's also a restaurant on the second floor with incredibly large and delicious dishes. The hotel's massage service was also great; you can choose between a 1-hour or 1.5-hour session. They offer free bicycles and boats. Definitely take a boat ride; you might spot sea urchins, starfish, and small fish. You can use the bikes to explore the town. The gym is excellent, with everything you need, plus air conditioning, towels, and water! The pool is clean, and the water temperature is very comfortable. Archery is also free. Swimming from the shore in the sea can be a bit challenging as it's very shallow, but you can take a boat out to deeper water for a swim. And the sunrises here are incredibly beautiful! If you want to visit the underground river or other attractions, you can arrange a tour and rent a car at reception. It might be more expensive than in town, but you save a lot of time. We rented a car and drove to the beach ourselves. It was an hour's scenic drive, and you're there. They even provided us with a bag of beach towels for the trip. During our 4-day stay, we never felt any discomfort; everything here is designed for guests. The staff are the most smiling and responsive! We will definitely return to this hotel chain again!!! Amazing hotel with the kindest staff! Everyone at the reception was always smiling, helpful and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, although we would have loved to see a bit more meat options since we’re big meat lovers 😄 The room has a beautiful mountain view, and the location is perfect, very close to the downtown. There is also a church nearby! hearing the choir sing in the morning was surprisingly peaceful and lovely😇 The only thing I would add is a shuttle service to the beaches at certain times for hotel guests Thank you so much for your warmth

We booked a night in the Lila villa and it was exceptional! One of the most comfortable stays in the Philippines. The bed was amazing, the shower was awesome and for once the little fridge was stacked with goodies. The staff was so kind and sweet. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it for the extra buck or two.

Our stay at Funny Lion was absolutely wonderful, and we can say with full confidence that this is a truly special place. The location is perfect, very convenient and comfortable, but what makes this hotel outstanding is the people. The staff are incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive. They genuinely care about their guests and even remember everyone by name, which makes you feel truly welcomed and valued from the very first day. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is done with great attention to detail. There is absolutely no need to stay directly on the beach because the hotel regularly provides a transfer to their own Papaya Beach at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, with return transfers at 14:00 or 16:00. It is very convenient and well organized. We highly recommend using the hotel’s airport transfer both to and from the airport. When our flight from El Nido was unexpectedly canceled, the team went above and beyond and helped us organize a transfer all the way to Puerto Princesa. This level of support and care is rare and priceless. We will definitely return with great pleasure. Funny Lion is not just a hotel, it is a place where you feel truly taken care of. The best! Highly recommended.

I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great. Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places. Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries. Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan. Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens. Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes.

An absolute paradise for families! We had an amazing stay at Astoria Palawan. The highlight for the kids (and adults!) was definitely the Palawan Waterpark, which kept everyone entertained for hours. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beach view is stunning. Special shoutout to the staff who were incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with warm smiles. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!

Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of food, I enjoy the salad and pastries the most. Thank you Lime resort for making our stay a memorable one 💗
