Usually when I go out on my own, I choose a hotel. Hotels are relatively clean. When traveling with my family, I choose B&Bs or apartments. However, the hygiene is not as good as that of a hotel. I see that the sheets and duvet covers are ironed and wrinkled. This must have been changed. Location: Very close to Golden Beach, it should be a homestay, the lobby is a room at the entrance of the community, the guest room is a few floors in the community, and the beach is separated by a road, the sea view is not bad. 2. Traffic, if you take a taxi, you can say that the location is very easy to find, and public transportation is nothing. 3. Service, basically ordinary homestay, and the hotel is still a little bit, and the front desk and the room are far away. The better thing is that I originally set it for two days, and I want to refund one day and I am very happy. 4. Facilities, the elevator was bad on the first day, such a big building, there were two elevators on dozens of floors, and the people waiting were dying. The facilities inside are actually old, the windows are a bit old, there is no sound insulation effect, and the below is not sealed. The facilities inside are also very old, the hot water is intermittent, the night is super noisy, very unfriendly to children.

It takes about ten minutes to get here from the train station. The hotel is located in Beihai Golden Beach, very close to the sea. The room I booked was spacious and well-laid out. It's very convenient for getting around the area. Dining at the hotel is also easy, with various food options available. The service was very warm and welcoming. The hotel environment is also excellent, a top choice for a relaxing vacation! 😂 All in all, highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by Qiaogang Beach. It's super close to Qiaogang Style Street, so every evening we just rented a scooter from right outside the hotel to grab some snacks. The beds were really comfortable too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beihai.

The location is excellent, right across from the beach, making it very convenient for families with children. The room is clean, has a balcony for drying clothes, and is fully equipped. Parking is convenient, and the receptionist, Xiao Jian, is very helpful and introduced nearby tourist attractions. It's great value for money; I'd extend my stay for two more days. Highly recommended!

Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, the Shangri-La Beihai stands out as the best experience we've ever had. Right behind the hotel is Golden Beach, perfect for stunning sunset views, and if the tide is right, you can even go clam digging. Our dedicated butler, Lily, provided excellent service throughout our stay, promptly assisting with both travel inquiries and daily needs. Last night, during afternoon tea, my husband, who has sensitive teeth, was kindly offered a bowl of very soft noodles specially prepared by Lily. The attention to detail in their service is truly impressive. This hotel is ideal for both short trips and relaxing getaways. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to coming back!

The location is fantastic! You step right out of the hotel onto Silver Beach. It's really thoughtful that they have foot-washing facilities at the entrances/exits since there aren't any public ones on the beach itself. And there's one thing that really surprised me! I needed a computer for work and wasn't expecting much, as most hotels don't offer them. But after I called, the front desk immediately arranged for someone to bring a laptop up to my room and told me to just call them when I was done. I used to always stay at Wyndham when I came to Beihai for business, but from now on, this will be my go-to place!

It was a great time to travel! The hotel's front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The butler service was a real plus; they sent WeChat messages with useful tips and information, which really helped us navigate and avoid any detours. We also got a free upgrade to a larger double room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The pool wasn't crowded, so we had a very pleasant swim. Overall, a great experience! And Beihai has so many delicious food options too.

The hotel is very close to Silver Beach, right at the entrance of Silver Beach, within walking distance, and there is a restaurant on the first floor. It is not far to take a taxi to Qiaogang Food Street. The room facilities are complete, there is an elevator, and the hotel front desk service attitude is very good.
