Seaview Hotels in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

Hotel Loisir is located 15-20 min walking from the city center. It has good amenities and wide selection of food for breakfast, including Okinawan specialties. The hotel has hot bath and swimming pool (in April, only indoor swimming pool was open) of decent size. Loisir is a great transit place, if you have a car, or any other occasion when you don’t look to span much time in the center of Naha. The location is quiet and peaceful. Note, that if you looking for gym, then the hotel has very minimal equipment, mostly for cardio workout. It would be helpful to have a bench and weights.

The breakfast at this hotel is absolutely incredible, and the view of the sea is truly awe-inspiring. Considering the reasonable price, it is definitely worth it.

The location was in the perfect spot, close to shopping, restaurants and the water. The amenities were great, but just be prepared to pay to gain access to the pool it is not part of the package. I am a company employee who has been living in Okinawa for 60 years and has been here for a year. I wanted to spend a relaxing weekend in the north, so I searched and made a reservation on Trip.com. I have used Hyatt in Hakone and really liked its atmosphere, appearance, and the heartfelt hospitality of the staff. We received the same treatment here, and we had a great time. It takes about an hour from Naha, so I will continue to use it.

It was an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel room looked much better in reality than in pictures. The view from balcony was breath taking. Perfectly situated on Tancha Bay beach. Sooo many kids-friendly activities, free indoor and outdoor pools with slides, a kids club between the pools. The hotel is dated but very clean and beds are very comfy. But the beach is full of corals, a bit hard for the feet. Better wear suitable footwear to go to the beach or even to walk in the sea as the seabed was lined with corals and small rocks. But the swim was fantastic.

We used a 4-bed room to stay with friends and family in early February. Our stay was nothing short of FANTASTIC! Masako gave the BEST customer service and worked with us daily for any requests, reservations, questions, etc. She was the major reason our vacation was such a success! I highly recommend this resort! We like to stay at the resort vice exploring/driving and there was so much to do!! We stayed three nights right in the thick of rainy season and it still didn’t disappoint! So many indoor activities for our toddler and when the sun popped out each day, we were able to do some outdoor activities (they offer SO MANY) :) We would come back again and again. Our dinners were very good and a great breakfast buffet each morning was included in our rate. My advice is to stay in the south tower—very quiet, stunning view of the ocean, and many amenities included :)

It is really wel laid out and duped clean. Modern. Upscale feel. It’s a bottom wing of a hotel. Bunk beds are ultra spacious and self contained (see photos) for your belongings. Privacy curtain and super well built and strong. Pillows are of the seed variety that’s popular in Japan and likely for hypoallergenic safety reasons. I’m not a fan. Many are though. Showers blast water wonderfully. Kitchen has all you need. Lobby area is highly functional. Loved the look and feel of this hostel for a city hostel.

It was a short stay and I didn’t have time to enjoy it in the swimming pool~ but the view was really good~ It’s very close to the American Village, so eating and drinking are very convenient.

Hotel is good, but English there so poor, so hard to communicate and everything by scheduled time (wanna sail a boat - only at this time, swim this time and many things by concrete time). It’s Insane, I come for rest and want to relax and manage my time as I want, but there it’s impossible. And about punctuality: it’s fake, bus late and instead of spendiy1hour 30min on the way to the hotel it was riding for 2hours and 30minutes, it was too slow, nobody said sorry or apologised for this. Service is so so. Long queues for check in and too slow. Hotel has no own transfer to or from the airport!

It was really hot when we first arrived at the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel had given us two vouchers to redeem welcome drinks. It was impressive that there is a wide range of choices regarding the drink. During the check in process, everything went pretty smooth. A big shout out to ms honoka ishiji, who is very welcoming and greeted us with a wonderful smile. She had recommended us a few restaurants around the hotel. We ended up picking the japanese-italian restaurant, which was awesome! We got a room with sea view and pool view. The view's nice and so as the room, really cozy and that made me feel like home (though the style of bedsheet and the pillocase is pretty outdated, but thats fine). Btw, the breakfast is definitely a must-try item in this hotel. Do remember to pick a window seat, so that you can enjoy your meal with the splendid sea view. All in all, that was a pretty good stay, and I think I will be visiting again very soon.

We stayed for one night at DoubleTree by Hilton. Upon check-in, we were welcomed by the signature DoubleTree chocolate cookie. It was declious but unforunately, not really warm. We booked a terrace room with sea view and it was large and very comfortable. The package we booked came with a 90-minute buffet dinner at Hilton Hotel, which was scrumptious and we got to try many signature Okinawan dishes. As a DoubeTree guest, we could only use the facilities in Hilton and we joint their sunset yoga class. The instructor was very friendly. It was conducted in Japanese, but body language matters the most in terms of sprots. Believe it or not? It was my first time trying yoga and the experience was pleasant in general. We also tried their buffet breakfast. The range of selection for food was wide and I recalled that they even had soft serve. The quality was good and worth trying. There was also a Lawson convenience store around the corner and the hotel was very conveniently to the seaside. If I have to pick on one thing about the hotel, I hope that there will be more activities for hotel guests to join and there could be counters selling desserts like sliced cakes for hotel guests :-) All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree and will definitely join again!

We visited during our trip to Japan for the Rugby World Cup. I chose it as it looked a bit ”quirky” and was right on the beach. I did not expect it to be as lovely as it was. After the shoe box sized rooms in Tokyo we were spoilt for space. Beautiful rooms, all mod cons and loads of space. We were lucky enough to have a ground floor room which opened up directly onto the beach. The bathroom and shower were luxurious and you couldn't pick a better sport for a beautiful sunset. Reception staff were great - friendly and very helpful.

Great hotel for a 3 star hotel! Staff here are friendly and most either speak good or conversational english! Convenience store and restaurants nearby that closes very late. About 15 mins walk from American Village. They provide parking space, AC, washing machine, dryer, microwave oven, water boiler, a heat plate to cook as well as utensils and kitchen ware to cook with. Whenever they made my room, it was done so well! I would definitely stay here again!

There is a convenience store 2 minutes' drive down the mountain at night. There is a local Okinawa restaurant next to the convenience store and a yakiniku restaurant opposite. The lobby is gorgeous, although it looks like It’s an old-style hotel, but it doesn’t feel shabby. There is a small supermarket and tourist souvenirs in the lobby. It’s very attentive. My room is next to the lobby. When I walked in, I saw a large swimming pool and beautiful heart-shaped lighting. My friends all liked it. We took photos as souvenirs and took photos around in the morning. The breakfast was very rich. In short, it is a large and gorgeous hotel. It is a highly rated hotel by all parties.
