The OKINAWA NAHANA HOTEL&SPA provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Naha will find that the OKINAWA NAHANA HOTEL&SPA is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is just 3km away from Naha International Airport. Guests will find Remains of the Former Izumizaki Bridge, Tenpi Flower Park and Naha Government Office Ruins just a short distance from the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Naha hotel provides parking on site. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a one-minute walk from the monorail station, about a fifteen-minute walk to Kokusai Street, and seven minutes to Kencho-mae. This was incredibly convenient for us as we had booked a one-day tour. The room cleanliness was quite satisfactory, but the hotel's SPA (hot tub) had a layer of skin flakes floating in it – it was absolutely disgusting!!! I can't believe this is a hotel named after its SPA. Someone must have gotten in without showering first. The hotel really needs to put up notices reminding guests to shower thoroughly before using the SPA."

The hotel has a minimalist design. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, and the water was beautiful on a good day. There are two small, enclosed beaches, but the sea was still quite cold in May. The two pools close early and apparently won't be open late until September. There are a few massage hot spring pools which are quite comfortable. For breakfast, sometimes you have to get a number and wait for a table. The French toast with cream and jam was super delicious, the bread was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pudding bread was also good. Overall, the desserts and bread were outstanding. The dishes varied daily. On the first day, there was freshly grilled steak, and the bitter melon scrambled eggs were very tasty. On the second day, there was Agu pork hotpot.

The ultimate choice in Okinawa! Stunning beach, caves, and perfect family vibe Our second room was just as wonderful. If you are looking to stay on the main island of Okinawa without taking extra flights to outer islands like Ishigaki, this is hands down the best hotel for a family vacation with kids. What we absolutely loved: * Stunning beach and nature: The beach is perfect and super safe for children. There is an incredibly beautiful, winding path along the shore. The rocky coastline, scenic caves, and lush tropical plants make walking around a magical experience. * A winning hotel chain: We highly recommend combining your trip with their sister property. If you do travel to Ishigaki, stay at ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort—it is easily one of the finest hotels on that island. Both resorts represent the absolute top tier of hospitality. * Flawless service despite flight issues: Our only complaint about the entire trip goes to ANA Airlines, as our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by 8 hours, which was quite exhausting. However, this is strictly an airline issue. It has nothing to do with the hotels themselves and their wonderful, dedicated staff who did an impeccable job. The local Okinawans at the resort are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Between the brilliant service, incredible nature, and great facilities, this was a dream vacation!

Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

The structure of the hotel is old, but the rooms have been updated and were very comfortable and new. I absolutely loved the retro charm of the place and the common areas such as the atrium pool and inside courtyard area were beautiful spaces. What the marketing doesn’t show is the vast open spaces at this hotel, the stunning landscaped gardens and the art-spaces such as artist in residence and exhibition space. I was blown away by this and enjoy a fantastic painting workshop with the artist who focuses on the local flora and fauna of Okinawa. The best point about this hotel is the staff. They are all incredibly lovely. Lisa and another lady name starting with H on front desk especially were so amazing, very helpful! One night there was an error with our dinner and the chef personally came to apologise. He replaced our meal with a local menu which was incredible and after eating he said the bill was on him as a gesture of apology. I was truly touched by this gesture of kindness. Areas for improvement: the kitchen being closed outside of designated times. If you want food at 10am for example, no chance. Also nowhere to buy drinks near the pool and beach. Food options are not great and the buffet is really mediocre. Also, I would expect their approach to sustainability to be better on an island like this. There is an overuse of plastic, especially single use such as straws and each tiny piece of cake at the buffet being individually wrapped. Really no need for that. I do worry where all this plastic is going. Beach is smaller than it looks. Can’t swim, very shallow full of seaweed and dead coral. Very quiet. Very strict lifeguard: no throwing a ball, no jumping, splashing, laughing it seems. We were using an empty bottle to collect water and build a sandcastle -he removed it. No standing on inflatables. No swimming outside of the fenced off area. From what I’ve seen this is an island-wide thing though, not limited to here. Local area: really not much to see and do outside of the hotel.

1. 🌅 **Ambiance & Location** (★★★☆☆) 📍 The hotel is situated along the coast of Yomitan Village, offering fantastic ocean views, perfect for watching sunsets and simply relaxing by the sea. ✔ All rooms are oceanfront with sea views, so you wake up to the ocean every day. ✘ As it's located in a resort area, it's a bit far from the city center and transportation hubs. You'll need to rent a car or arrange a shuttle for daily outings. ➡️ Ideal for a completely relaxing vacation; less suitable for travelers who primarily want to explore Naha city. --- 2. 🛏️ **Accommodation & Comfort** (★★★★★) ✨ Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a minimalist yet warm design. Outstanding Family Resort Experience We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this resort to families visiting Okinawa. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our holiday memorable. One of the best decisions we made was purchasing the Savvy Club package. It offered excellent value through discounts on restaurants and activities, and an added bonus was that lunch and dinner were complimentary for children under 12. For families, this made a significant difference and enhanced the overall experience. The range of activities available was truly impressive. Beyond the usual water sports, there were opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and unique marine life programs. Our children especially loved the experiences with the sea turtles and dolphins, which became the highlight of the trip and created memories they will talk about for years to come. Swimming with the dolphins was particularly special and an experience we will never forget. Another standout feature was the indoor water park. It was a huge hit with our children and provided the perfect alternative when the weather was either rainy or simply too hot to be outdoors. Having such a high-quality indoor facility meant there was always something fun for the kids to do regardless of the conditions. What stood out most was the level of care shown by the staff. As we had a very early flight on our departure day, we informed the hotel that we would be checking out before breakfast service started. Without hesitation, they kindly prepared breakfast bento boxes for our family to take with us. It was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel’s exceptional hospitality. From the facilities and activities to the outstanding service, this was one of our favourite family holidays. The children are already asking when we can come back, which says it all.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with an old-money charm that makes you feel like you've jetted off to Europe. It's incredibly quiet and picturesque, especially with the white church nearby – perfect for photos! Watching the sunset from Hoshino Coffee and enjoying a meal at Qinghai Gala American restaurant, all within easy reach, means you don't even need to leave the hotel for days. We specifically chose this hotel because it offers family rooms for four people. The breakfast also comes with stunning sea views. The only downsides are that the rooms are a bit dated and the ground floor can be a little damp, though they do provide air purifiers.

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, so it's best suited for those traveling by car. However, the views from the hotel are truly excellent, and its private beach is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. That said, getting good weather in Okinawa really depends on your luck!

Our stay in Okinawa was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, right by the shopping district and the beach, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and everything else. Although the room wasn't huge, it was cozy and impeccably clean. The separate shower and toilet were a really practical touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and even went out of their way to recommend local eateries and sightseeing routes. Overall, it offered great value for money and perfectly suited our vacation needs. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms, the facilities, the common areas. It is a plus they have complimentary water and iced/hot water dispensers in each floor. the spa was SO fantastic, although children are very very noisy. However, the jacuzzi is all worth it. The beach is VERY pretty, fantastic for a stroll. The room has a glorious sea view, and the bed, table and chairs, safety box, bathroom are top notch. The only but I would give to the room is that the bed is a bit too soft (mattress). Pillows, bedding, etc … lux quality. The parking facilities are fantastic too!! Overall we had a great stay. Arigato!!
