The hotel has a minimalist design. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, and the water was beautiful on a good day. There are two small, enclosed beaches, but the sea was still quite cold in May. The two pools close early and apparently won't be open late until September. There are a few massage hot spring pools which are quite comfortable. For breakfast, sometimes you have to get a number and wait for a table. The French toast with cream and jam was super delicious, the bread was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pudding bread was also good. Overall, the desserts and bread were outstanding. The dishes varied daily. On the first day, there was freshly grilled steak, and the bitter melon scrambled eggs were very tasty. On the second day, there was Agu pork hotpot.

The service was excellent, and the hotel environment was fantastic! The breakfast and dinner were standard buffet style, with above-average quality. However, the staff at the small shops might need more training, as they were unhelpful and seemed clueless, which is not the standard of service expected from a top-tier hotel.

Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

An absolutely delightful choice! The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, a tatami zone, a sofa and coffee table, and a large balcony (which even had a patch of soil for planting!). The hotel's outdoor environment is fantastic, featuring a semi-indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool, and a specially designated beach swimming area. It’s an amazing experience when the weather is good. Since we arrived just before a typhoon, we were lucky enough to book the last snorkeling trip before it hit (you're supposed to book by 4 PM the day before, but the staff probably offered it because all offshore activities were canceled for the next day). Snorkeling was 6000 JPY per person, and they provided masks, snorkels, fins, and life vests. However, they really didn't teach anything else [facepalm emoji]. But when the two guides came into the water to show the kids sea cucumbers and played underwater, hearing their hearty laughter, I quickly let it go. They probably assumed everyone knew how to do it naturally [dog head emoji]. The kids could stay on the floating board, so the safety factor was quite high. There were 7 of us in total for this session, which lasted from 1 PM to just before 2 PM. For beginners, it was a pretty good experience. The next day, due to the typhoon, all facilities except the semi-indoor pool were closed. We booked the limousine bus at the front desk; they helped us purchase tickets, which were cash-only. It goes directly from the hotel to Naha Bus Terminal or the airport, with departures around 9 AM and at 11:31 AM. It took about an hour to get back to the bus terminal, which was much faster than the OAS bus we took on arrival. Overall, extremely satisfied!

Heartfelt Hospitality in Hoshinoya Okinawa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hoshinoya has long been renowned for its impeccable service, and my recent visit was yet another shining example of that legacy. The hospitality extended by every member of the staff was not just excellent—it was extraordinary. Their warmth and attentiveness are what truly set Hoshinoya apart. Although my tight travel schedule only allowed for a one-night stay, and I sadly missed out on the many indigenous activities the front desk staff enthusiastically recommended, the experience was still deeply fulfilling. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery. Watching the sunset from my room was pure serenity—I could have sat there for hours, soaking in the view without ever growing tired. But what truly touched me was the care shown to my family, especially our 3-month-old infant. Before our arrival, I had informed the hotel via email that we’d be traveling with our baby. To our amazement, they had not only prepared a cozy cot but also thoughtfully provided all the cleaning essentials for baby bottles. It was a level of consideration that far exceeded our expectations—something we’ve never encountered at any other hotel. One moment that remains vivid in my memory was when a staff member, herself a mother, kindly helped us carry our stroller and luggage up to our second-floor room. Later that evening, while dining at Bellezza—the hotel’s exquisite fine-dining restaurant—our baby fell asleep, and the staff graciously brought out a cradle so he could rest comfortably. I was genuinely moved. What other fine-dining restaurant would offer such heartfelt service? Bellezza, without a doubt, stands alone. 🌟 In the end, what made our stay so memorable wasn’t just the stunning views or luxurious amenities—it was the exceptional professionalism and genuine kindness of the staff. They made our brief visit feel like a homecoming, and for that, I am truly grateful!

It was the perfect environment for a hotel getaway. Since we had young children, the hotel's pool and activities were excellent and very helpful. We used the buffet restaurant all day, and the availability of sofa seating was a great help! I highly recommend adding Club Savvy benefits. The food and drinks in the lounge and the concierge service were simply fantastic. The exceptional hospitality made me want to return.

Located in Yomitan, you can take a direct bus from the airport to the hotel, which costs 1700 yen and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, and every photo you take looks beautiful. There are two churches, one on each side, and the famous Hoshino Coffee Shop is within walking distance. The hotel beach is just okay, but the water is clear. If the weather is good, you can see the ocean stratified like a 'jellyfish' sea, which is stunning. At low tide in the afternoon, you can easily spot sea cucumbers, blue fish, and hermit crabs near the reefs, which is quite interesting (I recommend bringing a pair of beach shoes). For breakfast, there are three restaurants to choose from. I tried the Japanese restaurant and HanaHana. At HanaHana, you can exchange your breakfast for lunch (after scanning a QR code, you can select to swap breakfast for lunch and make a reservation). The lunch buffet is quite good, with many Cantonese dim sum options, and the overall quality is excellent – highly recommended. The Japanese restaurant serves a set meal for breakfast with a small buffet; the overall selection isn't extensive, but it's more about the experience. The hotel service is very good, and the environment is beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the lounge chairs on the hotel beach. You can also take the shuttle to the Grand Mercure, then walk to Hanagasa for dinner or to Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. The Grand Mercure has more swimming pool facilities (the pools at both hotels are shared). Overall, the experience was great, and I recommend it. The only downside is that the area is relatively remote, so it's not very convenient if you don't have a car, but it's not a major issue. You can stay here for a few nights and then move to Kokusai Street for a few more nights.

Here are some detailed tips: 1. **Transportation**: You can take the Limousine Bus (CD line) directly from Naha Airport to the hotel entrance. The last bus departs at 6 PM. Look for the 'Airport - Domestic Terminal' direction, and purchase your ticket at Gate 2. Cash payment is required. The hotel front desk can book a return bus to the airport/Naha Bus Terminal, but only morning departures are available. The bus stop is located just a short walk to the left after exiting the hotel. The journey typically takes 1.5 hours. 2. **Dining**: I recommend booking a stay that includes breakfast; the buffet breakfast is excellent, and you can enjoy it with ocean views. For dinner, you can purchase the buffet on-site. Remember to use the 10% discount coupon provided by the hotel. Dining options nearby are limited; about 100 meters from the hotel, there's only one shabu-shabu restaurant, which also offers sukiyaki. 3. **Shopping**: The hotel has a souvenir shop and a convenience store, but prices are a bit high. About 100 meters from the hotel, across the road, there's a Family Mart convenience store with reasonable prices. 4. **Facilities**: All water sports activities on the beach incur extra charges, but the pricing is transparent. The outdoor and indoor pools are free, and the indoor pool is heated. There's a fee for the hot springs, which varies depending on the time of day, with mornings being cheaper and evenings most expensive. I suggest going in the afternoon; it opens after 4 PM, there are fewer people, and you can enjoy the beach view. It's located near the indoor pool on the first floor and can be a bit hard to find, so ask a staff member for directions. It costs 600 JPY per person in the afternoon. If you opt out of room cleaning, the hotel provides a 1000 JPY voucher that can be used at the hotel's hot springs, restaurants, or convenience store. 5. **Rooms**: The rooms are generally clean. Remember to request a high floor from the staff, especially if you've booked an ocean view room. Late check-ins might only get lower-floor rooms, but it's worth trying to get a higher floor; while all ocean view rooms offer a sea view, the perspective differs significantly. 6. **Surroundings**: You can take a taxi to Onna Station, which is like a service area with some snack stalls and a supermarket. Our stay in Okinawa was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, right by the shopping district and the beach, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and everything else. Although the room wasn't huge, it was cozy and impeccably clean. The separate shower and toilet were a really practical touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and even went out of their way to recommend local eateries and sightseeing routes. Overall, it offered great value for money and perfectly suited our vacation needs. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

First time in Motobu and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We wanted a hotel on an island with walking distance to a beach and selected Hilton Sesoko Resort as we wanted to explore the Northern region. Room and service were excellent! Love the cosy room that came with a balcony and sea view, spaciousness for our luggages and large bathroom that is separated from the toilet and comes with standing shower and a bathtub. Parking is JPY1,500 per night, with discount given to Hilton members.
