We had to wait 45 minutes before we could get into our hotel room. Room was good, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, there are a lot of cuts in single-ply toilet paper
The breakfast was not that good; the rolls were not sufficiently baked so they were not edible. Other bread was delivered too late to the breakfast table. Furthermore, it was very busy during breakfast; there was a long line to get to breakfast and far too few places for all guests. We also missed a waste bin on the tables, where you can put your waste directly during breakfast.
The lockable bicycle shed was very poor; All of Fletcher's bicycles were in the shed, so guests had no place to park their bicycles. Furthermore, the roof of the shed, which was nothing more than a container, was torn and when it rained the bicycles were still soaked.
There was a swimming pool, but the staff did not indicate anything about bathrobes.
All in all a disappointing hotel.
The hotel is located right next to the train station which is very convenient. It’s very easy to find and is also close (short walking distance) to the city center of Nijmegen. The check-in was very efficient and smooth. The room was neat and I liked the desk feature, perfect for work or study if needed. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
I had a single room. Probably the room with the least favourable. :-(
It was a problem to enter the room because the door must first be turned over the box before there is room to enter.
The hotel has a fixed floor cover. I don't think this is hygienic anyway. There were several doubtful points in the tape. I didn't like to walk on bare feet through the room.
The night box stood behind the bed, and the wall, against which the bed stood, was with a screw, and you could lose something. The night the light was difficult, because the lamp was behind the bed.

I liked the restaurant very well.
The room was not warm and the toilet glasses were very loose. When we indicated this, good action was taken. This was just good. The service was also clean and friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was certainly not good. Basic dishes were already quite at the price you have to order vegetables and potatoes or potatoes. Then it becomes very priced. The portions were very small and partly not at temperature. Really a cutter. So, hotel good, restaurant not good in food.
Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available.
Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.
Well received by the night porter and a receptionist. The hotel is well taken care of right up to the room. Once in the room, it feels like the 1980s. Mold in the bathroom, furniture in the bathroom hangs too low. Booked a double bed and we got two single beds with a thin topping. My wife woke up with back pain. Coffee in the room was really substandard. There was dust everywhere. Cleanliness was not worthy of 5 stars. Choose a different hotel next time.
Hotel facilities are good, the room is large, the surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately, there is no time to enjoy the special SPA service.
The room was clean and comfortable, and some of the things that seem to be that there are signs of parts that need maintenance. This is how you see damage to doors and board plums, which have been painted, but it is not really, and was not disturbing for me. Staff is nice and attentive. Overall a great hotel in my opinion
All was well-regulated. Beautiful clean rooms. Pool table and table tennis table just brings a little more dishes in the hotel itself. Many small children but no playground oid. Now focused mainly on business people and meetings etc. or guests without children
Stayed for the second time, the food was delicious, the environment was good, and the service was good.
The room was also very large and quite satisfactory.
Will come back next time.

GGuest UserFront desk staff was courteous and professional. The corner room on the ninth floor had a great view. Open bathroom is a little strange and toilet is extremely small. Compared to other van der Valk properties this one ranks much lower than others. Very slow internet, little choice of TV stations, no streaming services etc.
GGuest UserBecause of the flight change, it is a pity that I did not go to the scene to live.
But the hotel couldn't refund the room. Later, after coordination, Trip.com refunded the money. Although I was not satisfied at the beginning, I finally refunded Trip.com , which also protected my rights and interests.
One thing to say, there can be applause here.

Hhmm117The newly opened hotel is said to be a girls' school. There are two types of rooms: one is a standard large room, which is larger than other hotels, but a little dark; the other is a loft with a higher ceiling, and the bed is on the second floor. The surrounding area is a residential area, and it is still a bit far from the train station if you drag your luggage there, which is a bit awkward. The breakfast is standard, and everything else is good.
