Reviews: Kyoto in a Day: The Ultimate Top 4 Highlights Tour (From Osaka/Kyoto)
Guest User2026-08-23
Oscar, our guide, was excellent in both English and Chinese, providing detailed explanations and taking care of everyone in the group! The overall itinerary was well-paced, with a well-planned route that made the trip enjoyable without being tiring. The guide led us through the interior and exterior of Nijo Castle. In Arashiyama, he guided us to the entrance of the bamboo grove; at Kinkaku-ji and Fushimi Inari, he led us to the entrance of the scenic area, explaining the route, time, and pick-up point. It was fantastic! Although we booked a 46-person group due to the heat, it was actually a small group with a guide and driver. Excellent value for money, great value for money, and very convenient to get on and off at Kyoto Station. Thank you! We also met another guide, Gao, plus a very knowledgeable international student! He helped take care of the Chinese-speaking tourists in the group and took photos for us. Thank you! My husband got along very well with him.

It was quite difficult due to the rainy weather, but you took such good care of everyone and were very kind to us. Thank you, Guide Sai Toshiko. Thanks to your kind guidance, I had a wonderful time touring rainy Kyoto and am returning to Korea. If I ever travel to Japan again, I would love to see you again!

Reviews: Kyoto: E-Bike Tour of Palace, Castle, Temples & Hidden Gems
Guest User2026-10-18
No effort was too much. Small group of 5 people. After our permission, the tour ended up lasting 2 hours longer because he wanted to show us so much. The guide spoke good English. It was just a pity that you didn't go into Gion, but fortunately we had seen that the previous day during the walk. Good bikes, a bit small for us (1.80m) but thanks to the good battery it was manageable. Incidentally, they also had a bike for someone 2 meters tall (that bike was also a bit too small, but manageable). By the way, the guide also took many photos with everyone's own device, which was great.

The tour was wonderful and a unique way to experience both major and off-the-beaten-track sites in and around Kyoto. The e-bikes were easy to use and our guide, Pohan, was super kind and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour to family and friends alike ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
